Yes I had the same happen. I got the email and when clicking link also got "SORRY, YOU'RE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS OFFER". Yet Terms and Conditions state: This offer is personal to the Velocity member who has received the activation email and is not transferable.7x points on first visit and 11x points on second visit (fuel not included).
I clicked the activate link in the email and it told me I'm not eligible. Went to the Velocity app and clicked the offer there and it told me I wasn't on the list.
My error message was "OOPS, IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH OUR SYSTEM. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER."I got the email and when clicking link also got "SORRY, YOU'RE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS OFFER".

Not so important for me as there is no 7-Eleven where I live but I click these things anyway coz you never know when you might have to make a quick trip. But yeah T&C very misleading. I would think if you aren't eligible you wouldn't get the email??
7-11 have improved over past year. They held lot of research session, I participated in a few. So a concerted effort has been done.7x and 11x instore purchases. I don't think I've ever bought more than a coffee in store. Are gift cards an eligible purchase for this?
Agreed and i find the fuel lock the best idea / price saving of all the servos7-11 have improved over past year. They held lot of research session, I participated in a few. So a concerted effort has been done.
The $1 coffees are popular, but you pay for what you get, but the sandwiches & wraps are good quality I must say IMO of course.
My credits - for my four family members - came through as a goodwill gesture. I had to send receipts but it was relatively painless. Good for them.Still waiting for the status credit promo to credit..... so can't be bothered chasing much more at the moment!
Just got the “oops we’re sorry” email. The error is supposedly fixed. Have been auto enrolled for the offer.Got a different error: “not on list”.
Took a screen shot and emailed Velocity

Yes, I got the same messages and the follow-up email to say that there was an issue with their system and that points would still be awarded as part of the promotion. I checked online again last night and the bonus points as part of the promotion have been since awarded.7x points on first visit and 11x points on second visit (fuel not included).
