Velocity to partner with 7-Eleven

Yes indeed, I’ve locked in at 10 cents below average so taking the 2 cars to fill up by end of week. Then fingers crossed - may use Costco but the Lines are crazy!

Do you have two accounts? or are filling them up at the same time?

You can have both phones using the same 7-11 account.
Although two accounts allows for flexibility, so you don't have to fill up at exactly the same time. It did only hit me this last week that having a backup fuel lock would be advantageous. Simply keep the barcode for the other account in Stocard or something.

Stocard, excellent idea thanks. I presume you then don't have to login to 7-Eleven accounts to redeem, which gets messy with multiple accounts.

You would have to log into each account to activate fuel lock, but then just scan the barcode of the account when you fill up.

Have you linked to two different velocity accounts or the same?

So a bar code will do the trick, ie, if I use a diy bar code from stocard and that/those sort of apps will do?
Or does it do with the QR code, as what Subway eateries use?

Dropped in at 7-11 as low yesterday and saw this. Filled up as a result

Ditto when the prices of fuel dropped to $1.82 in my area (before last night's budget announcement on the fuel excise cut).

Rats, I filled up this afternoon before I saw that. Although I'll need to refill before 2 May at least.

A weird thing just happened at 7-11.

I needed fuel badly so locked in 170 (All stations in the area are 170+).

Filled up, went to pay, opened the app and it showed my locked in price as 153.3!

I checked to make sure I hadn't accidentally selected E10, but no it was super unleaded.

Saved $7.88. Very weird
