Velocity/Virgin websites are RUBBISH

Doing 4 sectors on VA tomorrow. As a presently irregular user of VA, I've avoided most of the website etc fiasco, so will see how the hard product is standing up.
Please report :D

LW: I did SYD Hilton about a month ago; great for a short business stay, but rooms are still pretty small!
I walked past it twice yesterday and it looked good. My biggest concern is still the room size, something that turned me off the property all those years ago (and switched to HI and former CP). Still, at the right price perhaps I can suffer the claustropobic feeling for my one-night stay.

Has anyone noticed that they've faffed the my bookings section again? I'm getting nothing but a request that I put in my name and a booking number - no current bookings displayed.
I had the same issue - changed to using the other section (FF number) and it worked - up came all my curent bookings...

Takes ONE whole minute for me to STILL get this when trying to log-in

Unfortunately this request could not be processed.

EPIC FAIL Virgin

+1 the Hilton - tiny, dark rooms, ok for one night, not for an extended stay.

Dear mods: can you please change the name if this thread-it is rude to virgin. The a380 disaster reconfig thread title was changed(personally I don't like due to loss of 2 j toilets and banging from galley but that's not relevant here)

In what way is it rude? What would you like it changed to?

Perhaps "difficulty with Virgin website".

i consider it rude to call a person or thing "rubbish"

Rubbish is as rubbish does, I guess. Maybe we should set VA a few goals that need accomplishing and the name can be changed once they're met.

A person maybe, a thing (a website!)...no. The websites ARE rubbish - they took a giant leap backwards in January and despite constant assurances of "our team are working hard to..." - NOTHING has changed since then.

[MOD HAT ON]
Personally, when it was first put up (the thread), I didn't have a problem with the thread title - it is disparaging, however for me and others, with good reason - we want them to fix it.

I don't believe it breaches any of the T&C's, so don't see a need for the change.

A few goals? Isn't there a whole living blog post dedicated to such a list?

The club Jetstar comment was meant in jest and accepted as such I believe.

Right - so here many users are being serious.

Rubbish is far too harsh I say.

Garbage might be a better word.
