Vinomofo Wine Deals

I think it is the Glenlofty - I grabbed a case earlier in the week.

I am surprised it has lasted so long, lack of interest suggests I may have jumped a bit early but they have a good return policy so I don't have a great deal to loose.

Just out of interest, how long (roughly) does it take for returns to be processed? Have had to return my first case last week...

I am in the same boat as you - I called them last Thursday about my first return.

They were more than happy to organise a return - I had purchased 2 cases of a wine over 2 orders. The first try I thought it was ok but nothing special then gave a few away and tried another and decided they were not for me. I planned on returning just 1 case as I had gone through half of the other but they were happy to take all 18 back.

It takes a good week to 10 days for deliveries in Tas so I expect similar for a pick-up - I will update when it happens.

Can I ask what the wine was?

You sure can - it was the "Rymill June Traminer 2013 375mls" I purchased it back in Feb. It was advertised as the June Traminer - not a black market or Contraband offer.

I purchased a BLACK MARKET DEAL Dessert Wine 2010" three months earlier that ended up being 2010 Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy, Fiano Hand Crafted Botryis Noble Intent that I have found to be excellent.[h=3][/h][h=3][/h][h=3][/h]

Love some Geoff Hardy Wine:)

First taste/instincts - might send this one back.
Halliday review:
Schild Barossa Valley Grenache Mourvedre Shiraz 2013 A47/27/26% blend. The vivid crimson colour sends a message of
the equally bright palate with its synergistic and unusually
harmonious blend, the gamut of red fruits retaining brightness and
shape (and no confection). Exceptional value – one of the
bargains of the year. Screwcap. 14.5% alc. Rating 94 To 2023
$15

I had a look and nothing really excites me about this one, apart from the wines I have already purchased...

It seems that this big sales are a way to clear the left over cases from previous deals?

Email at 4:01pm:

'Something BIG is landing. You'll want some credits in your mof_ account...Thursday 30th July‏'

Should I be even remotely excited?

So the BIG thing was just another ordinary sale with unsold left overs and free postage?

Does anyone know what VM mean by "open day" and "open to the public".

Aren't we the public? And we are also VM "members".

I don't know if I get it.

Don't panic...this just in:

'Boom Friday has exploded! More wines, free shipping plus everyone is invited - what?‏'

And I thought that I'd missed out on those left overs that no one wanted!

Good to see most have sold out, lets hope some new wines hit the Fo in the coming weeks!

Hooray!! if that happens. The only thing i've bought in the last 6 weeks was the hugerford hill heavy metal offered a couple days ago as the other deals were mostly a repeat of old deals.
