Vinomofo Wine Deals

Epically failing at trying to identify this MP Pinot. Volcanic soils, so looking around Main Ridge, Red Hill and Merrick geographies. Could be wrong...

Black Market Pinot Noir 2017 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia

Best Guess is Paradigm Hill Pinot Noir L’ami Sage 2017. Thoughts?

I think this is it http://www.seaglasswines.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2017_Pinot_Noir_Single_Vineyard.pdf
It's $70 on their order form and they have had wines from there before.

Definitely not past use by or best before date in the example provided.
Best before date is often 6-12 months. With hoppy beers i would suggest this is far too long, Sierra Nevada do some good beers but my experience with DM is that often they are lacking flavour if you don't pay attention to the dates.

As for the $22 Filsell i think that's a good deal baiden, always nice if you can get it cheaper but i would prefer saving the time and hassle of visiting 10 stores to find 1 bargain...

These are always in store prices. Deleted lines. Stock take. Making room for the new vintage. Never advertised online. Same type of prices and stock level happen at Dan Murphys. I've detailed the locations of relevant BWS's previously. Keep a look out in store is my advice. Check multiple stores. Make friends with the sales staff and tell them what you want. Do not rely upon online prices. This wine is frequently discounted. I wouldn't pay more than $20 a bottle.

Actually, BWS online prices are localised - the online price will reflect the in-store price for the selected store, including items that have clearance prices at that particular store :)

Then it is not 100% accurate in my experience.

Sorry to hear - it has been in mine, at least in Melbourne/Victoria - find clearance item in-store, check website, order online for Cashrewards, collect immediately :)

If a price is higher online, then they can/will refund the difference upon collection, similar to price-matching at Dan's

It was first offered at $95 in March 2018, was offered at $79 in October 2018.
Be aware that GW and MB on The Wine Front scored this at 89 pts.

Didn’t try the 2012 yet but for 3 bottles I was willing to take a punt, based on previous vintages. If not up to par the two bottles left will make nice gifts to my preferred customers :)

That's a very long list to be asking about. Especially from a member who has 2 posts in 3 years, all of which appear to have been asking for the names of vinomofo wines. Most of these wines are not new offerings from vinomofo, so will likely already have been discussed/revealed.

Have you had a look at the messages in this thread to identify these wines? Yes this will take some of your own time. There is even a search function for you to use. Demonstrating just one example of what I am referring to, you ask about this wine:

Black Market Shiraz Blend 2017 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia

If you had looked you would have seen that it was revealed recently in post #14545 as Hasselgrove Cul-Stor:

Vinomofo Wine Deals

A simple search would have gotten you this result even if you weren't prepared to read through the previous messages.

I note that when you have previously asked for the identity of a wine and that wine had already been identified just a few posts earlier and you were referred to that earlier posting by another AFF member. I think many AFF members would think it unreasonable for you to be asking for such a large number of wine identities without having attempted some self help first and/or genuinely contributing to the AFF community. In my experience most AFF members are very tolerant and helpful, but there is a limit.

Love to get your feedback. I like the Meshach as a rule was put off by reviews and the discounting. Pur 2 & 2 together...

If it's not a good wine $90ish is pricey. If it's up to usual standard it's a decent price IMO. Other vintages often go for less on Langtons unreserved auctions so you can pick the Meshach up cheaper at times.
