Very organised, and also local. I used to buy from a company I'll just call 'GWD'. They bought up the names of premium wines formerly made by A-graders like Chris Ringland, often as export wines (R Wines was the Ringland company selling into California). 'GWD' are still releasing these, many years after the original winemaker ceased any association - I know this for certain eg FU (now they've added "2" onto end of FU) also former Ringland wines The Wine and Evil Incarnate. Or Colonial Estate is another - this time formerly made by a French winemaker, who then departed. Another unrelated one is Songlines. The difference with CW, is that CW tends to still be using the grapes from the original vineyards, as far as I can ascertain, and they make the wine themselves. Plus they know how to make good wine. But as you suggest, the RRP's & hence the discounts, may be opaque & at times, fictional. The other huge difference between the two I mention is that with 'GWD', you cannot have a clue who grows the grapes nor makes the wines.
