Not that you have to fly with me :p but I'm down on QF507, spending the night in MEL (location undecided) and back on QF624 in the afternoon.

Flights are booked QF507 on Saturday and QF616 on Sunday (QF624 was double the price!)

I've now booked my hotel.

ibis Sydney World Square - $89 / Fully flexible. Reviews on Tripadvisor aren't too bad, and I think I know what I'm getting myself into! ;)

Well Accor now have a 50% off sale... So I've re-booked at $44.50. Yep, $44.50. Can't cancel or change this one ... lol. But I don't think I care if I need to be a no-show!

I just rebooked a hotel for Melbourne, but can't rebook SYD as I did it as part of a package deal. #sadpanda
Oh well. All good. Going to be shattered anyway.
PS Don't forget to get your flights up on Planely.com we are currently holding the record for number of Planely ppl on a flight.

I'm staying in Melbourne, so I've booked my hotel there now as well.

Executive Suite at The Swanston (Grand Mercure) for $125.

:D

I still need to call JQ and find out what's happening with my reservation (the seat I selected is showing as taken if I make a dummy booking) but might wait until the ash cloud situation is sorted.

We do? That impressive. I guess the site has only just started up.

okay so latest update is i have an obscenely early flight out of the mel on the 30th - so anyone needing a comp into the lounge at like 5.30 is more than welcome to make their way to the airport at that time ;)

Just confirming I'll be there, I'm now also booked in on QF507 down and QF634 back to bne that night. Should be a fun day, looking forward to meeting everyone.

Okay - so I joined the planely thing (for this run - not for all flights!) - who is who?

I figured out Liam and Tae ;)

I thought that was someone else on here - or are you his dyslexic alter-ego ;)

See you then :)

Sorry, you've proabley heard this at leats a thoursand times. But shouldn't it be... "Sam I am" ? :p
That handle has gone (View Profile: samiam - The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community).

Skybus can be $12 each way if you purchase a 10 trip ticket. (I go through 2 or 3 a year.)

Tomorrow I am travelling from Patterson Lakes to MEL via #708 bus to Carrum, Frankston Line train to Melbourne Central, Craigieburn Line train to Essendon and #478 bus to the airport for $3 on my MyKi card.

It would be safer flying TT :) Make sure you have travel insurance.

LOL - picked on Frankston and you just left Patto Lakes sitting there?

:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Misha is angry because he paid $109 for a flight, only for it to be on sale for $59 yesterday.

A flight he is only taking (after having to buy MEL-OOL first) coz his friend Likkle Liam doesn't want to go to his first AFF meet alone ;)

Craigieburn was actually going to be my second choice - was keeping Fountain Lakes in my back pocket in case I had to wheel out the big guns later. :)
