No need to inform.
Point taken. I guess we are suprising them.
I'm new to this, so I'll be the one asking stupid questions...

Lawlass' +1 - is this confirmed?
Looking forward to meeting you all, and to my *gulp* first JQ domestic flight...
We are not able to display the seat map. Contact us or you can select an aisle or window seat preference. Selecting a seat preference will cause previously requested seats to be lost.
Nope, but thank you very much for the offer. I don't think I'll bring anyone...
So by my maths, that opens up two spots.
Looking forward to meeting the new faces, especially other girl ones.
It's actually an international flight, where I've found the crew to be nicer, thanks to their outsourcing although check-in is always a pain!
Is anyone else on the same flight also getting this error? I've just skipped it to keep my originally selected seat, but it seems a little odd to me. The next flight in the booking back from MEL works fine.
Does that mean I can be cheeky and snatch up one of those spots?
I've been called girly a couple of times in my life - does that count?
Of course - I didn't realise though that the crew were different - fingers crossed. Liam tells me they are more attractive on JQ Int too!

I'll be the one in thongs, singlet and ripped jeans.
Tastefully ripped I'm sure ....I'll be the one in thongs, singlet and ripped jeans.
While I'm here though... I'd previously selected seats for my QF flight on QF507 down to SYD, but now whenever I manage my booking and try to select seats, it gives me an error:
Being Melbourne based I'm happy to have a couple of drinks before going home (me thinks a taxi home rather than long term carpark) if others are interested...
A bunch of us will be loitering in the QF J lounge in MEL awaiting our flight back to SYD (HMM, BNE-SYD-MEL-SYD, yep we're mad) so guesting you in there will be a breeze.
I'll also likely be cabbing it on arrival in MEL (or perhaps a bit thereafter).

I'll be doing the same. But in the virgin lounge

I'll be doing the same. But in the virgin lounge. If I'll be alone in the Virgin Lounge, will I be able to come over to the J lounge and say goodbye there?
Even without me flying - or do the old "your guests need not be flying" rules still apply?
(and there's a similar rule for departing)As a Platinum Frequent Flyer you can access Domestic Business Lounges or The Qantas Club upon arrival if you have travelled that day on any flight that shows a Qantas, a Jetstar Airline or a oneworld® flight number on your ticket.^ You may also bring two guests, who do not need to be travelling.
