Wendouree allocations and general discussion

Didn't get my letter today in Sydney which means I won't see it till Wednesday....argh.

Got my letter today (Victoria inner city) and sent back pronto. Last year was terrible.. here's to hoping a better pick this year.

Separately I just did a stock take from the 2012 vintages when I joined the mailing list up to 2017 and counted 68 bottles in cellar... may need to do some vertical or horizontal tasting but not sure if they are too young... any thoughts anyone? I haven't tried any of them yet but conscious that my cellar space is at 80% capacity...

My letter arrived, the handwriting was blue pen, and there was a 2020 stamped in green on the form, otherwise all black, is green a colour on their system or am I reading too much into this

Received mine this week too. Sent out from SA on the 2nd July

Blue hand writing on the mail, had green stamp 2020.

I've express posted mine back and somehow it's currently in Hindmarsh Valley, some 3 hours away from Clare...

has anyone on this forum already been debited for the wines? If so, were you red, black or green stamp? what was your allocation based on the full request vs amount deducted?

No charge yet, but my form was a week later than normal/others this year

Lowly red crayon, I place pretty well the same order every year (18) and have been lucky so far

I had the same issue last year as I forgot to update my address and my father in law sat on it for a week. Let's see how we go..

Thanks. perhaps there's still some hope... I also have a red crayon but in VIC...

Red crayon SA here. Last year i returned form the day after receiving (3 July) and was not charged until 4 August. Received order in full, 6 Shiraz, 6 Pressings, 3 CM, 3 SMat, 3 SMalb, 3 Malbec.

I wouldn't be worrying too much about missing out for a little while yet

Probably right! Last year was slim picking because of my delay (got only 3 from 18 requested) and I wasn't sure if Auspost's snail service during COVID would impact people randomly... I'll continue to wait in suspense :)

A mate who is red crayon in SA ordered 6 of everything and got 4 Sixers. There must be a decent amount this year. My 18 bottle order was charged less than 2 weeks
