Westpac Singapore KrisFlyer Credit Card

Also, I know that the Westpac KF card has only just come out this month. How long do they typically offer these bonus points offers for? A couple of months?

Check out the westpac website - its got all the info under the 'Credit Card' tab.

May someone who has the card please tell me the foreign currency exchange fee for the Platinum card?

Even though I was approved immediately online, I waited for 2 weeks for the letter, which never arrived. So I called Westpac yesterday who indicated that the letter was sent early last week. I never got it but the agent told me to pick it up at the branch anyway. So I did today and started using it. However, I never got the T&C document in my package so I have no idea what is the fee structure. Does anyone having the same problem? What other fees should I be aware of?

hi,

i've just received this card this week and have made purchases, where do i see the points i've earned? anyone know? westpac site or krisflyer? cuz neither of mine have been updated.

If it works anything like the Earth card, you won't see anything till they appear on the Krisflyer site, which is a once a month transfer just after the statement date.

Just after the statement date each month Westpac will transfer the miles to your KF account. Westpac won't issue a seperate miles statement, although I believe they list the number of miles transfered to KF someone on your statement.

Can anyone else confirm? My statement cycle is 4 Jun, so I'll report back after then.

10,000 points to sign up
$10,000 spend of which 1/2 was work expenses :p but they can easily be counted as personal use so not in breach of the card T&C's

Alright guys, I've just transferred my Earth Gold card to the KF platinum. Was told that I would get the points for sure since I transferred over the phone AND more importantly that the 10k bonus points would end on the 5th of June!

Anyone looking to transfer/sign up should consider doing so before the 5th, in case it is true! You only have a couple more days...

Well I transferred online and the welcome letter said 10,000 points on my first transaction, so I am hanging onto that letter just in case

Got my pair of cards today by post. Now got to spend to earn.

Just had my first Billing Cycle...and the 10K points were awarded as promised. ;)

(note I transfered from my Altitude card via banking rep)

My first billing cycle was yesterday and the bill shows 10,000 promotional miles. :)

(I transferred from another WBC product via the online tool from within internet banking... Although there is some conjecture if this will result in bonus miles for all applicants - see earlier in this post... In that light I'd suggest new applicants speak to a real person to get the guarantee, or just cold apply)

They also sent me two AMEX cards by mistake, one of which I had to destroy. So, it's looking like a bit of a botched launch.

My card has had a nice workout so far

40,000 points already :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
I hope you have been searching the Krisflyer redemption engine for those Saver redemptions. On my home front Mrs Albatross is already thinking of dates for the European holiday!

I am reluctant to book anything at the moment - I'm hoping that the fuel fines will reduce at some stage in the next 6 months.

Looking back over the Qantas online statement Dec08-Mar09 I transferred 210,000 Altitude pts to 105,000 QFF pts putting together some Australian flight rewards. In the next five months, that same expenditure on KF Amex will net me about 315,000 Krisflyer pts.

Sons of Albatross are now relying on lowering of fuel fins and availaility of Economy saver rewards so that they can go too!

My KF Platinum card was sent to my local branch. A letter came to home advising me that it was waiting at the branch.

Thanks...

How long after did you get the letter to pick it up from the branch after you received the pin?

I had also received a telephone call from the branch upon the arrival of the pack at the branch.

Day 1 - Received phone call from branch. As I was travelling overseas that week I picked the cards up at lunch time. Also changed the pin at that time.

Day 1 - Arrived home and notification letter was waiting at home.

Day 2 - Arrived home and the (now redundant) PIN arrived, which I threw out.

I think it was about 7 days from application.

I am newbie here. Thanks first to all helping me choosing this great card. Ripped SIA a bit for this month as I was helping paying my cousin's study fee using AMEX...
