What cheeses me off

Printer Events not so rare in this house. Manuscript reading proofing much easier in printed version than online. And had an issue with an online booking in Copenhagen and since then, everything gets printed.

Printers. The money is in the consumables not the machinery.

The sad part is the printer can be cheaper than the ink. Printer has been sitting idle in SYD for more than 10 years.

Office and Qantas lounges used to come in handy but now don't visit either so no real need to print anything.

Same here … you print something mebbe 2x per year, but you REALLY need it those two times … don’t visit the office, need to obtain a printer yourself (cheap in itself) and you just about need a new cartridge each time you print something ‘cos it dries out …

Which Airline?
Australian Carrier Policies are:
Not Australian.

TK Miles&Smiles flying LH with the paid upgrade going into P class (business award).

Which leads to another thing that cheeses me off: Eurobusiness!
But really, how much of an idiot was I to pay to upgrade into that cough. 😬

Well I'll show my age and say I still find it easier to proof read and mark up etc a document that I've created than do it on a screen. Then physically pick it up to take it out to the verandah with a coffee 😀. I'm work at home office retiree/ history writer. Use A3 as well as A4 and A5 printing on my machine.

It's an author thing not necessarily age.

We are churning through paper currently. And now inks. As per yesterdays cheese. Book deadline is 15 May. Book completed yesterday, because we leave tomorrow for India. Today is reading through print. After so many many long days writing online it's printed. Which gets bundled off to EA this afternoon by Uber as now she has to reterence and cross reference all quotes. Some rather interesting people interviewed for the book too, and some known personally to people on AFF and others by reputation. We are stuck with printers because I know in the next 12 months there will be that "I want to write another book " statement at which point I'm booking a long solo cruise.

So my cheese today is : please pack MrP as leave in 24 hours. I've washed everything. Because well, we've not sorted what to take yet. Have we.

I've done it. Not super easy. I just gave the file to accountant and they organised it. Now it's bliss as it's all in the cloud.
Our MYOB is in the cloud. I reconcile the last month, send him the bank statement for June and accountant can log in and finalise returns. ATO does all the employee data once I click the final button and everything finalised for the FY. But they are always updating it.

Another cheese. Yesterday MYOB sent an email saying they were now offering to have invoices sent to customers by Text. Have they learnt nothing from all the current spate of frauds? I would never ever pay an invoice that was sent to me by text from a professional organisation. I'd never give a company my phone number either.

BA normally has that drinks table that inserts into the middle seat - so not really a shadow at all, more J with a skinny seat.

Admittedly a few years back, but last time I booked BA Eurobusiness LHR-FCO they took the drinks table out and sat three people in 3 seats. Apparently overbooked so stuff the passengers who paid extra.

That should have been considered a downgrade to Y
