What I ate today - the food thread

After tonight we are on a cruise ship for the next 13 nights and there is little chance that we'll post a lot of what gets eaten but there might be the odd really good one appear.

Is this 48hr Pizza Gnocchi Bar?

Yes, it was. But 48h is the correct name. I had the pizza special on the board along with blackcat20. Buffalo mozzarella and green olives had me, but there was also a seafood gnocchi special that was tempting.

They need to fix their front door (well the door jamb actually). In fact they could have just left the door open as there was a nice breeze.

They also had limoncello, so I had one with dessert. Delightful :D

The food and service there is fantastic and Ill be sad to see our waiter go (short term visa). The Nutellino with dessert was also spot on.

OTOH how does 1.75 kg apricot and 1.75 kg sugar become 2.6 kg jam? First crop from the tree....

It would be very runny jam if it was still 3.5kg's
