I got some of the Speigelau BBQ/Whisky glasses in the Christmas sale last year. I now have none left, every single one chipped or cracked. At the same time I have 20 other cups and glasses doing the same things and not an issue with one of them. The spigelau above are still $159. Be careful though I'm already down one. Have you looked at the Gabriel's, wafer light, just don't hold stem while drying them, the Gold is the very light and the standard is more durable.
I have been giving the Spiegelau versions of the Zalto a robust work out.
