Indeed they were popular. Not all stores stocked them and it was worthwhile visiting dozens of stores to try to find them.

I've just now spent the last one that I purchased from that offering.

Just purchased $100 DJ gift card at Woolies (earns 2.25 QFF points per dollar when paying with the DJ Amex card at supermarkets).

Immediately appeared on the Woolies POS as 2000 rewards points (870 QFF)

So with the 8.70 QFF points per dollar with this offer plus the QFF points earnt with credit card spend = 10.95 QFF points per dollar .

Nice!

The new bonus product sections have been announced in the Woolworths catalogue today.

The offer is now triple points and the current promotion runs from today until Tuesday 15 November.

Triple points on Breakfast Cereals (excludes baby cereal and baby breakfast products)

Triple points on the freezer aisle

The previous double points promotions were paid instantly. I haven't tested whether the new promotion will pay instantly. There is a note in the catalogue which says it may take 10 business days for the bonus points to be paid to the relevant accounts.

If you purchase any bonus products, please let us know if your bonus points were credited with your base points. If they are credited later, look out for an AllStores notation in your transaction list.

Indeed. Last time DJ Online had a big points bonus I thought I would double dip with 4 MR points per $. But after buying the DJ cards I noticed that the mall says that purchases with gift cards will not earn the points.

I'm pretty sure they are instant, Mixed $21 spend with about $8 of freezer items yesterday gave 36 points at checkout (no allstores entry online).

If it's instant the points will just go against the shopping trip. The allstores is for credit later on.

I can't make head or tails out of how the double points thing works. Buying single items, I've had double the rounded down amount, double the rounded up amount, and various things in between.

I notices an interesting thing about rounding. Every single one of my transactions has given an even number of points (round up, round down, but always even)

I think you've just figured it out. Well done.

I checked our family member accounts. All the points transactions have been even numbers, even the ones I would have expected to round to odd numbers.

There is a transaction amount in one of the account for $3.00 exactly. This was credited as 4 points. Up until now I couldn't figure out why. There was only one item in this transaction and there were no double points applicable.

Based on these observations it appears the transactions will round to the nearest even number. It's not a matter of rounding up or down to the nearest number.

It was actually a $3.00 transaction that made me look. I wonder if it is storing things in cents in the background, and mutliples things by 2 for display.....

Today is the last day for triple points on freezer goods and breakfast cereal.

Tomorrow is the start of a new series of fresh food double points. I will give details of this tomorrow. The categories are in the catalogue but I haven't found and end date yet. I'll keep digging tomorrow.
