Indeed. He was in the squad but never got picked. Then he didn’t pick up a B.B. contract so he had to just play district cricket until the shield season returned after B.B. final. Hardly the way to groom Australian team members. He bowls like Philander (sp?) and the SA team don’t know him so fingers crossed for him.

The irony - Chad swings the ball. No sandpaper required. He just never fitted into the ‘bowl the ball super fast’ mold.

Oh we picked him for the Adelaide Ashes test..... then didn't select him anyway, instead Starc. Fast forward Starc broke down and missed Melbourne and they played Jackson Bird. (Dumbf...is)

If he'd played for NSW he'd have debuted years ago... Some Smith guy had final sayer on who was in the team
