Some changes coming across the network. They are over the next month or so. Some changes include:
- Introduction of a full 2nd meal service on longer flights (such as BKK/HKG/HND) in economy, with business to follow
- Introduction of full breakfast in economy on longer flights back into Australia (also from BKK/HND/HKG) and more hot choices in Business
- Premium ingredients being added across starters and mains
- In premium, cheese and biscuits increased to a larger serve, almonds during bar (same as J), ice creams on lunch/dinner flights and... no more side salad! This will now be an antipasto bowl.
- In economy there is a general increase in the portion sizes
- Domestic will see PDB on east/west (and all other long sectors)
- On domestic, 3 choices of meals throughout the day, one hot, one cold dish with a hot item and one soup (muesli for breakfast). Where a flight is double catered, the offering may be 2 choices (2 hots or 1 hot and 1 cold dish)
- In business, trays will have additional items on the tray appropriate to time of day
- In economy, some flights will have the bar available from 0900 instead of 1200 and the food offering improved to a hot item.
