I am WP with QF and VA. You don't have to stick with one airline. Some places I fly the only choice is QF and others VA.

With or without speaker people dining in the Flounge should not be making calls. Please leave the area if you need to take a call, I don't really need to hear all your company confidential information anyway.

Still deciding if I should requalify for WP seems like VA don't care about me. VA SG seems like a sweet spot unless they can give some better WP benefits than they do now, free seating to economy space would help.

Johnk has already said he made a mistake, time to move on and say "Mia culpa", getting an ESTA on the day of travel should never happen as you should check visa requirements when you book, which includes checking you have a valid ESTA for USA travel. If you make a mistake just say "Mia culpa"...

Even in hotels I check where the smoke detector is and keep well away when using spray on deoderant. Some hotels have had signs in the bath room to close the door when showering to prevent smoke detectors going off (in Japan).

As they service my home port Sydney so likely to use them, it would seem reasonable to apply to people who use Sydney airport to entice us to buy from them.

I am WP and I don't see a lot of J seats on routes like SYD-LAX as they are all taken almost as soon as they are available. The only upside is I can request seats to be released but even that is not a given. With so many points generated by credit cards there is not way they can supply enough...

I think until it can be proven that it was suicide then it would be libelous and people should shut up but sadly as far as i know you can't libel people who are dead. I think the law should be changed to correct this.

It is better than the Virgin version where you need to have lounge access, also lounge wifi can be up and down so being able to download at home is far better. I think virgin should change to the QANTAS version as it is far better.

QANTAS have been systematically making it harder to get lounge access on JQ. Moving from T2 in Sydney, switching from NRT to HND in Tokyo and the list goes on. Maybe QANTAS should build a their own terminal in OOL a distance away from the current terminal to make it harder to access QP for JQ...

Premium desk seems to be still there, well at least that is how they answered. On Friday a workmate wanted to change a flight, he rang and was told one hour wait by automated system. I called for him on the WP line and it took about 1 minute but still not bad and the booking was changed...

It could be a glitch but at the end of the WP and above have always had the ability to ring and ask if seats can be released so there has always been different availability based on status. It may be they have updated their systems to determine what seats can be released to WPs and show them...

It does say current coins. You can use 1c or 2c if you like or the round 50c.

I also guess they will need to check IDs as we board otherwise people could just give their boarding pass to someone else. They could do what they do in other countries and only allow passengers past security but even then there is still the possibility of two passengers swaping tickets for what...

At the end of the day unless it is international I dont see the point of ID checks, except for Tasmania you can drive and although it would be an inconvinice criminals would just drive. If people are on some kind of watch list if it exists then ASIO and other government agencies need to step up...
