I was looking at the T&C of the various insurances included, and it seems that the "Rental Excess Cover" (for domestic Australian car hire) activation condition is quite laxed. E.g. it doesn't require charging anything to the card, not even the rental fee. Am I reading it wrong?

I think he's saying if it's a mistake fare (and extra payment is required), the airline/OTA is obliged to offer the option to cancel for free instead of pay more.

But isn't it Qantas (the airline) who does all the fare filing? The 3rd party just show what they've got through GDS, no?

I have 0 SC and 2 weeks into the new membership year with no forward bookings. Previously have used MASAs and classics. Not sure if i'm going to take advantage, because in general Y SCs are pretty low and having international J not included doesn't help either.

tI think what experienced IT people, or in this case web app (and maybe mobile) specialists bring to the table is the knowledge of the current best practices. Those are the people who can tell you about "your back button behavior is broken", or "you`re storing recent bookings state wrong", etc...
