Abbott in Government

Cory Bernardi is an embarrassment to all Australians and is completely and hopelessly wrong in his prattlings about family values. What is most important to children is to grow up in a loving environment with positive male and female role-models. He fails on all three counts so I harbor fears for his kids. Hopefully they won't grow up to be cretins like their dad ....

It seems that Cory B, Scum M and Crass P are fighting it out to be the worst federal politician in OTT's government. It's a strong field ....

Ive lost count of how many people are now in DRone's mythical gang of five, but I think it's the first time I've been included. I'm sure that I'd be flattered if I could give a cough :)
You dont need to give a cough.

Your posts in this thread are one of the reasons I have lost interest but that is neither here nor there.

Ah but you calling what I say is offensive is fine.
And when I checked amazon there were no 2,3 or 4 star reviews.it may well have changed.
Of course there are a few that say they have read the book but then add things like I found it in the gutter.Personally I don't believe them

those two three and four star reviews have been there for days. Would it really kill you to say "oops, I got it wrong?". I know that it would, so the question is rhetorical.

So, none of those 500+ reviewers have read the pamphlet? Not even the fans who rated it five stars? You stated that emphatically as a fact, but that's the internet for you.

One term Tony needs to get on his bike and start doing something positive or the Liberals might be be tempted to make him One year Tony.

The 5 star ones are often the ones who found it in the gutter.

hm .. well the Christ-mas break didn't help the lynch mob find anything constructive to debate.. same old same old…. boooooooring

And so what? Were there many who didn't find it to be in the gutter? Does Amazon say how many have bought the pamphlet? I bet it's not in their top ten.

I'm guessing that by Easter it will be available for $1.99 in good remainder bins everywhere, it would be foolish to buy the thing now. In the meantime I'll keep checking the reviews for the humour - it appears that even the noted critic Dorothy Parker has had a say from the grave.

I thought when the election was over, finally people might stop the endless mindless blagging. How wrong was I

Is is there any chance we can't save it all until we are at least six months out from the next election, when it all might have a point lol.

Keep on dreaming he's in the big chair for a while & he's just getting started. Billy is a lightweight not up to the job & Tanya is laughable.

Ex Liberal MP Wife caught up in fraud claims.

Taxpayers have allegedly been defrauded tens of thousands of dollars by a recently retired Liberal Party federal MP, who appears to have paid his wife for non-existent work in his electorate office.
Documents obtained by Fairfax Media indicate that Alex Somlyay, a Liberal MP for 23 years who retired at the September election, billed taxpayers $69,157.15 for his wife's employment during 2012-13 alone.
Mr Somlyay's wife was not seen at work during the past three years, a source close to the electorate office said. Nor was the source aware of any electorate work completed by the former MP's wife in or out of the office in this period.

WOW! This makes Slipper's three $300 winery "tours" pale into insignificance. But I suppose it is to do with Tony's belief that "MP's shouldn't be prisoners of office" - their invisible spouses should!

Interesting lack of comment from the minions .....

Re: Oz Federal Election 2013 - Discussion and Comments

Actually I'm more interested in hearing an apology from Shorten and Co for their rants about Hockey's responsibility for Holden's withdrawal. Seems to be a quiet day for the minions on that score.

Oops we are about to be embarrassed .... quick lets change the subject !

That works both ways doesn't it. Your response to the miss directed Shorten blame is?

I couldn't care less if an elected member ends up being charged with fraud. There's good and bad on all sides of politics. I don't take responsibility for that. I've never heard of the bloke. And until they confirm his partner hadn't done any work, well, really it's a moot point.
