Guess we have to wait 5 more days before we hear from Scott Morrison as he bunkers up for another week, letting the boat issue and the possible/likely breaking of Australia's international obligations die down a little.

My utility bills will be arriving at the end of this month, let's see if my rates have gone down ~9% as promised by Mr Abbott

Too bad posts in the Playground don't count towards lifetime posts tally ;) hehehe otherwise I'd be up there, posting lots of mud :) hehehhee

Don't you know that's all top secret and not for the likes of us

Re: Oz Federal Election 2013 - Discussion and Comments

Small issue of the carbon tax repeal remains.

As far as the boats, while I don't agree with the turning back the boats policy, Abbot is just doing what he said he would do in his election promise. Why the surprised faces?

Typical Lib arrogance - Phoney Tonys incompetence is Labours fault? Its agood thing that Phoney Toney is working in sales - his lack of skills would of course be because the stupid customers won't buy.

Actually my electricity bill arrived three weeks ago. $400 less than the winter one. And I changed plans. And I didn't need the heater. Go figure.

For a man who thinks climate change is cough ....why the hell does he promote his own climate change policy? If you don't believe it, don't do it.

And what about Cory Bernadi?!? That guy's brain is likely the size of a nut.

So you think he is impressive?

But that was one of One Term Tony's biggest and loudest promises; surely he needn't depend on a vote to drop our power bills?

Cory has a great future as a novelist - the Amazon reviews of his latest book are all raves :)

Product Reviews: THE CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION: Amazon.com

"Poor value, and very rough on the nether regions"

Like you none of the reviewers have read the book.Typical left wing ranters who believe only those on the right can hate.

I guess the politicians who uttered these words are not among your most liked-
“We know the statistics - that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime, nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. They are more likely to have behavioural problems, or run away from home, or become teenage parents themselves. And the foundation of our community is weaker because of it”.
“Today and every day, my administration continues our efforts to reduce unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and minimise the need for abortion.”
“Abortion should not only be safe and legal, it should be rare”.

Well that & the reduction in boat arrivals . His boat policy like it or not appears to be working as he doesn't need other parties support to implement it but the carbon tax is another story so yes it's the fault of labor & the greens. You can't argue otherwise.

And where did I say, or even imply that I had? Typical rwnj jumping to conclusions based on what he'd like to see in my post rather than what was actually written.

Some of the reviewers actually state that they've read the book, or pamphlet as it's often been described. It's deceitful to say otherwise.

And even the most rabid rwnj would have to admit that some of those reviews are damned funny. Lighten up, there's a good chap.

His boat policy like it or not appears to be working ...

The government has provided no evidence either way as to whether it's working or not. It's time that underlings such as Morrison were removed and somebody more senior and better equipped given his role. There are probably a few women idly cooling their heels on the back-bench who could do a better job.
