Well, it is TA that is keeping it going by keeping talking about it in Parliament and the media. Needs to get on with the job. Has TA changed his media approach?

The man has apologised for the shoddy and inept work of past management - what else can he do?

I do agree that the ABC needs to pull it's head in and start acting in the National interest. When he goes on 7.30 report and gets peppered with stupid questions about this..........you can't blame the man for s#$@house journalism!

No - so taxpayers are not paying for a product that is competing with private enterprise. Unless you would like Qantas, Telstra and CBA etc re-nationalized as well Hvr ?

Its a question of public or private ownership and competition within an industry, nothing to do with News Ltd.

I'd argue privatising Telstra and CBA were bad ideas (Telstra in particular).

There is an Indonesian election coming up. It's a well known practice of Governments to foster an international crisis to distract the masses. And that's exactly what has happened.

It's just a shame that young Tony and his team of rank amateurs are the least well equipped to handle a situation such as this as any government has been in living memory - from any side of politics. Even the bumptious Lord Downer of Baghdad would have made sure this was all but a memory by now.
The very definition of a one-term government if ever there was one.
