Advice on champagne

At a tad over $32 with WISH/SH it is drinkable for sure.

Not even then, for me. :):):)
Along with Joseph Perrier (Used to be the disappointing tipple in the old Singapore F Lounge. Haven't been in SIN for ages, so don't know if that's still the case.)
And, far worse, the Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top that BA serves in J. Can't manage more than a sip of that.

For that price and some change, I would prefer the Louis Auger. But, as we know, tastes differ.
At least I won't be fighting for a share of the offer at Dan's.

Enjoy the experiment and report back? :)

YES we are all different - joan you are welcome to all the LA you want - I won't be fighting you for that one.

As KP would regularly say - 'good thing we don't all like the same girl!'

Moët @ $44.90* & Taittinger @ $49.85* seem the bargains this week at Dans

Using Wish / SH its $44.30* & 44.74* respectively... Happy drinking everybody

Let's not Qwibble over a few points Shintaro10x. It may be the only way to run down that overly large stash of Qantas points.

The French have over produced champagne in the last couple of years so I did get a special at Tesco in London for $17 then put it in the cooler and forgot to try it. Back there in 5 weeks so I must remember to test it.

The Billecart special last month was a winner from DM.

I was saddened to find last month CX served NV Krug in F. Oh the disappointment! The caviar was good though ;)

Having read the recent posts about Piper Heidsieck I have just arrived at the CX Lounge at HKG to discover that's exactly what they are serving.
Still, it's better than the alternative...zip

The Bridge served the Gonet-Medeville Blanc de Noir when we were there late last year. Very yummy drop! Was the only J lounge (we also went to the Cabin and the Wing) that served something other than PH.

I'm still in the Wing but have had enough Piper

You, me, outside now. :p

I'll also gladly settle for a Charles Heidsieck BDM 95. Or vintage Krug. I'm not picky, oh no.

Oh dear. I've been slow catching up, Keith009. You and Cruiser Elite have probably scoffed all the good stuff by now.
I have been reduced to Lanson Gold Label 2004 for general sustenance this evening. Will try to do better for the rest of the week. :)

Was on the Winston on the return from Europe to Oz a few days back. It's not too difficult to take. But it's not the Comtes.
Need to look out something nice for drinks on Thursday. Maybe a Jacquesson Avize that has been beckoning for a while? :)

Finally I can now enjoy Champagne for brekkie every morn and not feel too guilty:

On a serious note Dan's have Mumm at $37.90 in any six - take off the wish and cash back and it's about $32.50 I think - gotta be a great buy at that.
