ALL QF's 330's to get lay flat Business seating - Including Domestic

Got a refurbed bird SYD to MEL midweek. Several passengers had difficulties with the chest sash security belt in J (mine had fallen behind and under the seat and almost took an engineer to retrieve). Makes me wonder how secure it actually is. A couple of seats had no power. Sound on the IFE kept cutting out. They are pretty comfortable but just don't seem built to last.

We also both had the sound issue on a SYD-MEL flight recently

Agreed. Part of the plastic in the footwell was coming loose in my seat on SYD-PER back in early Jan. They look good, but they don't feel solid...

Any idea when ALL A330s have new suites?

My current prediction
- All 9 flying 330-300s by mid-April (could be mid-Mar depending on order they do them). All 10 complete by mid-end May.
- 330-200s by end-August assuming they do 2 at a time once 333s complete.

Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet?

Does anyone know the progress of QF's refurbishment of their international A330-200s? I thought I'd read that most of them were done. Is this correct?

Re: Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet

AFAIK none of the skybed A332's have had their refresh yet.

Re: Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet

Oh. Thanks for that. I suppose they'd be on the lowest priority for the refurbishments since they already have flat beds even though they're angled.

As there are only 2 of these left (2 have left the fleet), I would assume QF would prioritise getting rid of the recliners before these get done.

Saying that, QF are blurring the lines between the Intl. and Domestic 332's, as a number of refurbed "domestic" 332's are operating on international legs.

Re: Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet

EBG, EBL - still in the SkyBedI config. (EBH,EBI left the fleet)
EBS,EBV only Refurb aircraft with the Panasonic ex2 in Y, all the others are iPad - ultimately will be 8 aircraft in this config

For the moment it appears some refurbed aircraft with iPads in Y are being used in international legs

What about the A333s, how many of them are refurb'd??
