Re: Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet

Does the table need updating?

Probably. EBD going into the shop on 27/1 means a whole column can be deleted. And probably a couple of completions.

Awesome. So EBD goes from column four into which column?

Same one as EBA,EBB,EBC (can't find the last version quickly on mobile)

Done.

I'm leaving column four in place one last time so we can all celebrate the fact that wretched config has gone.

Indeed!

QPH can move to Col 7 with a *.
EBD should also have a *

Re: Have the international A330-200s been refurbished with the new business class yet

Has Qantas done the refurbishment for all of its international A333? I have booked a journey in April from PVG-SYD, and the seat map still shows the old configuration.

Look at column 6 above

As per the posts immediately above. No.
Only 7/10 completed with 8 due out in the next fortnight. Depending on whether QPG or QPJ goes in next might still be one Refurb operating in early April

Thanks very much for that, is there anyway I could check which Rego will be the one operating that route in April? QF website doesn't tell you that info at all.

Unless you have someone in the know - you won't get the operating rego

Not this far out. Watching the seat map is the best bet.

That said we should find out what is next to go in within the next week. If it's QPJ (which should be a one month Refurb and would thus mean QPG goes into Refurb by mid-March) I would expect the seatmap to change

The quicker they get the ones in column 3 done the better. Sunday 10 days ago, Perth to Melbourne we got one of these coughpy planes, 2-3-2 with minimal leg room. In all serious an exit row seat would have provided more leg room. To top it off the inflight entertainment didn't work at all. And to make it even worse they knew about it before the plane arrived (and weren't going to try and fix it) and didn't advise passengers in the lounge so we could make our own arrangements in getting some more reading material or downloading our own content. They waited till they closed the door to let everyone know which the cynic in me thinks was to avoid anyone creating a fuss at the gate and/or in the lounge.

While the sooner they are all done the better I prefer Row3 to Row2 - at least then you get gate to gate IFE (if it works).

Will be interesting to see which of the three columns they do next.

I hope my path doesn't cross with QPG and QPJ when I fly to BKK in 2 weeks.

Likewise when I have my SIN-SYD run around that time too. Although last time I had the old config, I said that it was probably the last time I would see that seat so we'll see if I have to eat my words.

My flight to BKK in 2 months time shows 5 rows of 6 across in one cabin, so we will have QPG or QPJ. :(

If it is correct, it would have to be QPJ (with QPG being next in and taking two months)...
Although I hope QPJ is next in (I doubt it however as only just over a month separated first flights of QPG and QPF so I suspect the c-check is due)

Report on YSSY that QPH due out on 10/2 and will operate some domestic sectors initially
