28 I believe. 10 x -300 and 18 x -200.
I think that's about right.
10-300 is on the money.
Then Source websites currently lists 15 QF-200s and 6-JQ-200s but I believe at least 2 of the current ones are due for lessor return in 2015 so wont get upgraded
I still think its a mistake that QF aren't adding PE to the A330's. I know most airlines find it hard to fill PE seats, but they could do what CX are doing now, only have 2-3 rows of PE - approx 13-21~ seats, this would ensure for people that can't afford J all the time and those that don't like squishy Y seats a happy medium which is essentially a high yield Economy seat.

Agreed. I raised it at the BNE function this week with QLD RGM. He just said 'economics'. but the conversation moved on fairly quickly even when I said even just 2 rows of 7 seats would have done it.
lol...you people make me laugh...per flyers would have complained about qf 737 j/c seating on per/sin...and oh how easy it is to install seats and then if they dont work...just pull em out and replace them! lol no cost to airline involvd at alll lol
For years SYD-HNL has been a 767 with worse J/Y seating than a new 737-BSI with AVOD and they never seemed to have a problem filling it still and that was a 10 hour flight!
Second point regarding pulling seats out being a huge cost yes if it was a brand new type of seat that needs certification and testing, but removing a curtain, and changing a few rows of PE seats out (which are essentially just wide Y seats) and putting Y in not that big of a deal. And the whole idea of a trial is you put it in on a few aircraft see how it goes and if it doesn't work out remove them, (or leave them for P1's, WP to select).
Maybe you are the one making the decisions at QF lol your logic seems the same as theirs!
so simplistic..QFs P/Y product involves more than the seat...it needs dedicated galley space..dedicated crew...and at least a toilet NOT in economy!!!etc.. of course i dont expect some to comprehend the complexities of the WHOLE PRODUCT... CX doesnt have dedicated crew/galleys/and tiolets shared with economy!!! for P/Y on their a330....and those who have experienced CX P/Y know what im talking about
I don't know why you are getting so emotional about it I was just suggesting what QF should have done, not trying to write a business case for them!!
Also I do understand PE product I frequent PE quite a lot on QF (A380, 747) and CX (A330), QF 747 toilet for PE doesn;t exist its the Y toilets! although depending on the crew they normally let you use the J toilet right in front of the PE cabin..

well...my logic involves 'cost to benefit' analysis ...seems like a sound logic for any business that strives to be profitable
I have just noticed a plane change for a flight I have in December, it was a DF layout now it is this:
It looks like the Domestic V2, but it has a galley instead of a wardrobe and the seats aren't staggered, how accurate are the seat maps or is there a chance this is the new layout?

It could be the V1 but the bassinet positions are wrong
I would say its the original design. Seat maps are not accurate on QF. Also isn't the new lay out a 1-2-1 lay out with all seats having Aisle access?
