has anyone gotten the bonus yet? just out of interest.

I haven't had mine yet. I will give it until the end of the month before I call, that will be about 3 months.

I applied under the 50k point offer around this time late year. Anz took the full 3 months as per the T & C's

I am a newbie with this card so it is about 2 months before I need to go looking.

I've received the cards and welcome pack, but it doesn't show the free first year or rewards bonus on any of the mail I've received.... Is this normal?

Yes, and if you call to confirm, they'll just say as long as you applied via the promotial link it will be ok.

When I called I asked the chap to confirm the offer details which he did.

Congrats. I just hope i get mine. I got nothing to prove it with

After 3rd month or sooner ?

Thanks

Much sooner - about 1.5 months after approval, but I also hit the minimum spend quickly with some big-ticket items I'd been holding off until I got the card.

Let's wait and see

Card activated on Mon; $7,500 limit reached on Thursday

75,000 pts - worth watching out for

With other ANZ cards, you'll find yourself waiting and waiting for the sign up points. I'm not sure what their strategy is, but personally I found it very offputting. It's really poor PR.
Have had a few ANZ cards along the way but never really stuck with them...

Sigh, I was a little too hopeful and didn't quite make the $7500 spend. Was about $2000 short by my 3rd statement. Luckily first year annual fee was free. Time to cancel.

You've lost nothing and not spent money for the sake of spending. Winning!

It's a good you didn't spend money just for the sake of chasing points. Great self-discipline. Well done.

True, thought those 75k points would've come in handy for a business one way to LA. Guess I'll just have to settle for economy. Talk about first world problems.

given the lack of availability, you're probably not missing out anyway...
