Tried booking KUL-xx-MEL a couple of days ago and made a small typo. I tried to stop the next page loading but "missed it by that much". I kept trying every few hours, but the seat never came back into availability...

Until this morning! Phew, now I can make it home in comfort.

KUL-BKK-SIN-MEL with TG and SQ in J for 40k and $70

Got 4 x J SiN - CDG on SQ and 4 x J MUC-DUR on SAA for August 2015.

Were you able to book all 4 seats at the one time, or did you have to book 2 and then wait for 2 more to be released?

All 4 at once for both flights. SQ was ticketed in a few hours and I could select seats online. SAA took a bit longer, maybe 12 hours and I had to email them for seat selection as you can only do that online if you book tickets directly with the airline.

I've just now picked a random date for 4 x J flights and they came up first time.

LAX - ICN (F)

ICN - SYD (J)

Does anyone know where I can find my booking ref. I got an email for the ICN SYD flight but nothing for LAX - ICN

Assuming I'll have to wait till they email the eticket in a day or two??

The booking ref is displayed on screen while the payment is being processed...you should screenshot as soon as it appears in case something fails. If nothing comes through you're going to have to call.

2 separate awards right?

yes. 90K for the F and 40K for the J. Decided to treat meself to some F goodness considering I scored SQ F to NYC on the way over. I'd have been happy to try out OZ J on the A380. Seems like it's up there with BR which has to be the best J seat I've tried in terms of hours slept.

Since it's OZ for both legs I'm not too worried if the LAX flight is delayed. If only LM could change their system to allow different class bookings.

Okey dokey.. big breath! ( So excited!! )

Been lurking and reading, and lurking and reading... seems like forever, and finally took the big step of my first ever redemption ! After purchasing minimum miles (only when the 2x1 bonus was on) I finally got to the point where I couldn't wait to 'give it a go' !!

Yesterday I secured 2x J seats SYD-NRT via YVR !!! AC
32k plus 775US !!!

I'm doing the Happy Dance here on the sunshine coast - hehehehe - god help Mr Stoneman when I drag him through the outlet shopping in Vegas :D

Thankyou to all who helped me ( with or without realising ) the information is priceless, and I am one very HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

Well done

Mind if I ask are you actually going to arrive into NRT?

Nice booking if its SYD-xYVR-NRT but that's a lonnnnnnnnggg way to go in J. I know AC has a nice J but J is still J imo.

Some of my contacts may dispute that claim. Not to mention; what is the AC product on YVR/NRT anyway (last I checked, I thought it was a 763, or maybe I'm getting confused with NH; however in this case it may not matter). Though it's still likely better than the back of the bus anyway.

Methinks some people may prefer our latest "winner" to keep their voice down........

Just made an (economy :() booking FRA-YUL on LH and AC. 13k points and about $400 in fees. Was a last minute christmas booking so not the best value, but revenue flights were pretty pricey.

Anyone know:

- where can I add my *G ff #
- does *G actually get better seats on AC?

Tried both LH and AC sites and neither worked.

Thanks

I dont care but its foolish to post about your boomerang with intention to drop a sector . But we have long since stopped being discreet. People just love a good online boast about how theyve scammed the airlines

I thought most of us had Shayne on ignore?

I understand why you disagree with what was posted, but I get the impression the OP was just so excited with what they managed to obtain, they just wanted to share, perhaps not totally understanding that they were being indiscreet? Or have I missed posts where the OP was asking specific questions where they would know?
