I could always drag something out of my storage cupboard. Cab sav? Think it might be a bit of a hot day for reds. I was going to stick to football hooligan beers. Just trying to work out how many will go in carry on luggage.

Reminder for any Sydneysiders that there's trackwork on the North Shore (buses Hornsby - Chatswood via Gordon) & Bankstown (buses Sydenham - Bankstown).

Lucky that it wasn't the following weekend as there is major trackwork due to commisssioning of signalling & points around Auburn.

Thanks for the heads-up! Did not know there was track work on the Bankstown line, probably drive to the airport now.

Back On Topic...

What is the situation with glassware / cups? Should we all bring some plastic cups or will there be a stock on-board?

I'll be paying visit to the the two cars on Thursday afternoon to stock up on consumables. Including cups.

Just checked the weather forecast and it'll be 27 degrees in both SYD and CBR on 14 December...

That's not too bad, does anyone have a tapking. Perfect weather for a tapking I say.

I thought about going for a tapking for my favorite tipple a few weeks ago but reconsidered when I compared the price per ml against stubbies. It's even worse when the stubbies are on special.

But it tastes better out of a tap king! :D (not sure if true or i'm falling for marketing, either way it tastes better hahah)

I'm sure to experience a tap king beer somewhere over the festive season. I hope it's Boags Premium so I can form an opinion

Is there a toilet on the train and if so is it going to operate like one on a Thai train?

I've booked the return flight QF795 CBR-MEL on a sale fare.

It's now almost T-80 before my flight out of CBR (I believe I'll be the first one out) and I'm about to select my seat... No doubt most of you would have already done so for your inbound flight to SYD. This reminds me of the Amazing Race and the FIFO departures from the pit stops!
