COVID-19 and Tennis

I'm not understanding why the media think it's going back before the same judge as last time. It will be a completely different case, with a different respondent. I can't see any reason why it would automatically go back to him, unless he's the after hours duty judge both last week and this week?
 
What? We have a decision? I count 4 days to do that.

He did make it clear he would find it hard to believe another judge could make themselves familiar with the case in the time required. But that said I think that comment is probably not particularly appropriate either.

I don't see why he should automatically be made the judge in the new case.

Judge Kellys "What more could he have done" comment might not turn out that well. Turns out all he did was to lie.

A directions hearing will be conducted at 20:45 Melbourne Time (09:45 GMT) before Judge Anthony Kelly of the Federal Circuit Court, the BBC understands.
It refers to a short court appearance where orders are made about what should happen next in a case."
