that explains the delay with my Edge application. Might have to book a flight and shelve the Velocity Amex. Have already got the charge and the included reserve card.

Interestingly I thought that was explaining the delay in my Edge application as have Charge, Velocity Platinum and Reserve in hand. So was thinking an explanation letter was going to turn up in mail. Surprisingly after about a 5 day delay an approval text turned up. So will now have 3 plus 1charge.

You can see it on your Amex page straight away, although points only auto-transfer once per month just before the statement period ends. In my case I got the bonus points before I even reached the minimum spend.

When you log in to your Amex account, click rewards up the top. Then select the refer friends and earn rewards link. Follow the bouncing ball from there.
