Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Probably the McGuigan Farms shiraz, as Winemarket have had the 2012 before (at the same $75 price. JH rating matches as well)

What else is there (Winemarket) worth buying?

Have this been revealed? $33.17 from $75, Barossa Shiraz 2011, 94 points.
Nothing to go on except "drink until 2026"
Secret 94 Point Barossa Valley Shiraz 2011 (6 Bottles)
Wow, they don't give you much of a chance with that one!

If you're into Riesling I think the Superstar pack is great value http://www.winemarket.com.au/Riesling-Superstars-6-Bottles

Barossa 6 pack is OK too. Filsell and the Heirloom are both nice, and the others are decent enough http://www.winemarket.com.au/Big-Bold-Barossa-Shiraz-Six-6-bottles

Not sure on the Mystery deals tho, sorry.

Winemarket goes from almost revealing to saying nothing.
Same goes with the 2 Eden Valley shiraz $39.83 from $80.
However one could easily get the solutions from the sales person. ;)

I don't know what it is with such meagre info.
2012 description is "old vine", and heaps of praises. Pricing all different, 2011 way too costly.
If it comes from the horses mouth, say so :)

I thought it was the Farms 2011 back on Feb 12th when it first listed, not many Barossa 2011 94pts from Halliday, that was the best match.

It was $21 on ViniMofo last October.

I'm not interested in buying it. You'd have to trust Halliday an awful lot to buy, even if you liked the 2012.

I agree with RWB.

Not many 2011 94pt Barossa shirazes, and from memory only 4 are 'drink to 2026'. Of those only The Beast and Farms are in this price bracket. The 2012 Farms was also advertised as "from $75" and the 2011 Farms has been offered in other places like VM.
All circumstantial, but there's no other wine that jumps out as much as Farms.

If it is the same description as back then, then yes it is Farms as I posted earlier.
Of interest WM has sent out a 20% coupon in latest email, reducing the cost further. Having paid sub $20 I certainly wouldn't be paying over $30 now.

The new single site is operational, cellardoor.co, they indicated members of the old site would be getting an invite, but this doesn't seem like it has happened yet.
The old site is still there, but limited items discounted.

If you are a member of the old site send them an email or message via the Contact us page and ask for an invite to the new site.

Thanks RB, they replied today with an invite to the new site - I like it :)

Is anyone going to the TWE cellar door wine tasting at Zinc at Fed square tomorrow evening?
