Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

How does one score an invite?

It was offered through the TWE cellar door website that has been discussed in this thread recently. Cost $20 and includes tasting of Grange 2011 and several other high end reds, in amongst 80 wines up for tasting.

Not sure if tickets are still available.

I think I have access to TWE - who knows.

I am seeing a bunch of things at varying prices. Some are okay, some are just retail?

Dan's are cheaper on a lot of items....

Yes they are, but there are still the occasional deal/bargain that makes it worthwhile, like the excellent Baileys Durif 2013 @ $18 in 6-packs, free freight (RRP $27), less 10% in a recent offer.

They just informed me of a once-only offer (until March 31) for me to invite family/friends to join, others may have received the same offer.

EXCLUSIVE OFFER - Offer expires: 20 Jan 2025

If anyone is happy to invite ME as their friend (or family, whatever), can you please let me know? :-)

I wonder if they have differing price levels. I logged in (thanks to RB), and at first I could see John Riddoch available at $150, $120 and $110 (or maybe $100). RWT was also available at $135, $125 etc.
Come back half an hour later, and flip back to the same page, and the multiple offers for the same wine are gone - just the higher prices are available. I wonder if there was some backend process that put me into the right "category" that happened to run whilst I was away from my machine.

I had similar - when I first logged on St Peters was $50 then I looked back an hour later and it was $55

I've not seen that, maybe a clue for new members to jump in if you see a low price.

I did just take a call from Wine Market, after a bunch of lesser stuff, we finally got around to John Riddoch 2012 @ $110 in 6-packs, he seemed willing to go slightly lower to get a sale too, but I couldn't think of anyone willing to split a 6-pack so declined.

Just on my way home from the TWE wine tasting ... Some nice wines! Standout was St Henri 2012 - $75 a bottle in a six pack. Bought some Chalambar at $15 and Grey label Shiraz at $20.

Good prices, but St Henri was $61 delivered with a discount code from Wine Market last October.
