I didn't get an email, MrsM did as we have a common email account for QFF, initially I thought is was targeted but registered anyway to see what happened, idiot switch now engaged.

I would have made these bookings anyway so just pulled them forward, similar to last years offer. P1 to mid 19 was marginal, this almost guarantees it.

Wonder if QF's systems still use GMT time i.e. even though offer says AEDT use those dates but for the GMT Timezone instead to decide which flights automatically qualify for DSC.

If this year works the same as the past offer I would choose buy. I think I changed approximately 60% made during last years offer, some voluntary some not, some refunded to vouchers then re booked. DSC alway came through without having to contact call centre.

The international airport at Tontouta is about 45-60 minutes drive from the city of Noumea so if you're leaving the airport it does really require an overnight stay.

I was just wondering if samh004 was planning to turn around in 45 minutes in NOU, which I think is not possible. I've been to NOU many times, but never as a SC run.

My hey-day was a 48-hour BNE-MEL-PER-KTA-PER-BNE-MEL-PER-KTA-PER-MEL-BNE... but I felt like death after that and I anticipate feeling similar after this.

Why do you say that? Easy enough if it's the same plane...

They don't exactly have a finely tuned international transit operation, but there is no risk of missing the flight.

I think your only chance is if QF in SYD can check you in for your return NOU-SYD flight, because by the time you clear immigration the check in counter in NOU will be closed (usually the QF aircraft spends only 45 minutes at NOU). As you'll be flying J, you can run to passport control and through security 30 minutes before departure. Let us know how it goes!
I guess if QF ticketed it it's their problem! They might put you at the Meridien if you miss your flight!

Canberra based and need 1360 SC to qualify WP. I don't want to spend too much, can I use a classic any seat award on Jetstar ?
