I just had my first flight this morning - will be interested to see if I get the bonus !!

Yup - was surprised both at the eligibility (I thought I'd booked outside the window ie before the promotion started, but I think I just scraped in) and at the prompt posting.

Flew back to CBR yesterday afternoon but only the regular SCs have posted for that flight.

Last year when I was Gold and wanted this they made the offer to Platinum FFers.

This year when I probably cannot use it they offer it to Gold and Platinum FFers. :evil: :evil: :evil:

ie I got the same offer as a Platinum.

Hi Straitman - they have not offered it to all WP's - myself and two others at work are all WP and no email received. Mate (Capt QF) whose wife is Silver also received the email - she is much better looking than me though so that might be the cue...

Do you know what type of picture and pictures of who of with the donkey that you need to obtain such an email??

Yeah, I too clicked the link, took me to a blank page (borders only) on the Frequent Flyer, tried logging in etc, all I got was the blank page.

Time to try out my double SC's. About to make a booking BNE/.../ADL/..../BNE (....insert either SYD or MEL) for day trip Thursday.

Yesterday, grabbed a E class BNE/ADL flight for the outbound tomorrow, but this morning (by the time I had shored up all my appointments), can only get K class on the late return ADL/SYD/BNE. What a shame (but it does give the flexibility that if other earlier flights open up, I can hopefully jump aboard and get home earlier). 65 SC's as bonus for the 3 flights - should be a shoe-in to re-qual Gold and give Plat a nudge.

Was trying to go BNE/ADL/MEL tomorrow but my main MEL client just wanted me to email presentation for him to look at over the (long) weekend.

MEL trip likely to be later next week or following week now.

Booked WGA-SYD-BNE-SYD-WGA today for next week. Should be 160 SC's I guess.

I'm actually in the middle of the same trip this week, but this week's flights were booked before the promo started

My membership year started 1st April, and with the double points offer I should have ~ 800 SC's by the end of June from my regular flights (nominally that trip every second week). Not a bad start to a WP requal

I had already calculated how many flights I need to requalify for Platinum before this offer came through so going to change a planned upcoming J flight to Y and will still qualify for Platinum and save $1400 !

Mine took an extra day after the normal flight SCs posted.

Sunday PM flight - regular SCs posted about 2 hours after the flight, bonus about 24 hours later
Monday PM flight - regular SCs posted Tue AM, bonus SCs Wed AM.

I have 4 days between attaining WP and a Y trip to LHR (upgrade to J requested). This will hopefully improve my odds

Two working days. Flew Tues morning, normal points credited that day and bonus credited this morning.
