Double Status Credits are back

Hi,
I am WP and I also received an offer for double status credits until the end of June. I have already requalified fro Wp, currently have 1795 SC but they were gearign towards me getting partner gold in the letter. Either way I am about to do a MEL-SYD-SIN-BOM-SIN-CKG-SIN-SYD-MEl with possibility of BKK in there. I calculated as I am doing all flights in J with Jetstar Asia JetFlex between SIN-CKG I will earn 1070 SC in one round trip, my biggest earn ever in a single return trip. I then have another MEL-BOM-MEL in beg June and a MEL-BKK return in late June, by my estimate I will then earn 4500 SC this year, my best ever by 1500 SC and I will achieve LTG this year, which is about 1 year earlier than expected, so thanks to QF for the double SC run.

That is truely impressive.
At risk of being a wet blanket, But I hope your flights were booking in the qualifying period to earn double SC, and not existing bookings.

Yes and what is even more amazing is that from nov to feb I did no travel at all as I was at home tending to my new set of triplets.

Whilst OT, congrats on the triplets and my hat off to you. I thought I had it bad/busy with twins!

When did you book the flights?

According to terms and conditions the flights needed to be booked after being targeted for this promotion.

It's the weekend - even my normal flights are hit and miss over weekends.

I had to change a flight for a trip back from DRW last week and it did not trigger the bonus credits.

Well, my flights from yesterday (BNE/MEL/ADL/BNE) have posted quickly again - I am surprised as they have previously taken days to post, now they are posting within 24 hours (domestics). Would expect to see my Double SC's by Monday (at latest).

Yes correct the SIN-CGK return will only earn 15SC each way.

Thanks to the double SC's I will have LTS in the bag by June 30 this year, about 8 months earlier than expected.

Now onto LTG.....

Sadly, I wasn't one of the lucky Gold FF to get this offered to me.
One can but hope I'll get an offer like this emailed at some stage of my FF life. . . . . .

Maybe next time (would have helped me with retaining my WP this year definitely!!)

I think who got offered the double credits is a mystery as I am WP and was offered it, even though with forward bookings paid and confiirned in the system I was guaranteed to get partner gold this year so weird. I am happy as last time this was offered I was not one of the chosen few. What is interesting is my boss who is star alliance was sent an email by QF with an offer to join QC with no one off joinign fee, interesting hey...

Dropped them an e-mail and got a call barely a few hours later (very impressive). Apparently they can take up to two weeks.

Checked this morning and my double SC's are there from my flights on Tuesday. Wow, nice service QF - less than 48 hours this time.

My best start to a membership year in memory, so I am going to try and give Plat a shake, but the only way I'll get there will be getting lots of double SC's before 30 June.

Some people have complained that they don't get emails etc - but then when questions said that they thought that ticking the box wouldn't have include such an offer. My partner had ticked the box - wasn't surprised when the offer was not received, though I did receive it!

There have been reports of QF also sending out hardcopy invites to those with no promo emails, if they have the right address!
