Emails still coming.I just got mine as a QPNB.Mrsdrron though as WP hasn't got one still.

Yeah, I got an email today - my heart didn't even have a chance to skip a beat because I caught the subject immediately: 'Don't miss out on points'; an EDR spam, not even a consolation.

You've got to laugh. ;)

Well if there isn't a better example of a straw man argument, I present it.
*sigh* geez. Fine!

Over the top? How?

QF decide to have a targeted promotion that's their choice. Same thing when Amex wheels out a targeted promo and not every Platinum cardholder (or whatever rank) gets picked. Is it unfair? Is it unjust? Is it un-Australian? Is it inhuman? What's wrong?

Unless I'm taking all the comments here too seriously when they should be taken tongue-in-cheek....
Geez, shame you deleted your post. Because i wanted to ask you where we find this mythical communist society where everyone gets treated equally. (maybe it's OTT to make comments about communism that just do not match reality)

Time now for a literal reference to Animal Farm and how some are more equal than others. (I can't remember the exact quote, so shoot me)

[/tongue in cheek]

That gives me some hope, lucky you!!

Now seems like it’s letting a few more people in than least year, so I still wonder what the requirements are…? :)

Wondering whether the promo title of "WINBACK" suggests that those selected have seen their travel drop-off recently.

It seemed the case a year ago where I was targeted for a similar offer when my SC earning had been 40% of the previous "year's".

moa999, where did you find that code?

I didn't get the email, and going to "https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/auth/campaign/startconfirm?campaignCode=WINBACK" returns:

The campaign that you requested is invalid or doesn't exist.
However, after a bit of trial and error with different codes, I tried "https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/auth/campaign/startconfirm?campaignCode=QFFWINBK" and got this result:

Earn Double Status Credits

Unfortunately you are not eligible to register for this promotion.

I'd be curious to know to know whether those who received the promo email get a different message when visiting this URL.

I've just seen this thread this afternoon, and it made me wonder if I had deleted the QF email (if at all) by accident some time yesterday ;) (argh, the trash was emptied).. Also been checking my emails religiously since, haha.

It'd be nice to be 'the chosen one' like in the AMEX scheme last year, but looks like I am, another QF SG, not targeted for this promo.

Which leads me to moa999's and serfty's theory. My SC earning is on the rise this anniversary year.

Good detective work though!

I don't subscribe to the theory as my SC's are higher this year than at the same time last year.

Last year I was not eligable and this year I have the offer.

My anniversary was march 31 and i've had no flights so far (had more this time last year), but no email (yet). pity as i am about to look at booking at least 2 flights a week between now and end of June. would have been nice to double the SC count!

Doesn't apply to me. As I said earlier, my anniversary was end of March, and I earnt more points in the just-finished qual year than the previous. Both WP requal years.

Like straitman, I didn't get the offer last year, but have received it this year.

Checked with the same link. No dice here either.

So I'm set to get it the usual way. Thankfully, where I see it at the moment with my current bookings, WP requal is pretty much in the bag (but a few more here and there toward LT status would be nice).

The "Winback" portal where you can "register" (or check) also makes a big deal that you must book in the promotional period for your flights to count. Still odd, but that would have limited my ability to take advantage of the promotion (if I was eligible).

Same thing with last years promotion - the link that was sent to the persons targetted did not work for people who did not recieve the email.

Last year I got it, this year I didn't - BOOO QF!!

Hmmm, I registered from the original link in my email, but then I have used markis10's link above it has registered me again

I wasn't eligible for last year and QF re-qual'ed me Gold only 6 weeks ago for my year end 28 Feb (so my travel was down over the previous QF year). Already had 95 SC's in my first month.

Same for me too!

You should edit that link - it contains your frequent flyer number and name.
