I received a similar offer about a year ago - back then I was running at < ½ when compared to the SC's I had earned to the same time as the previous year.

Nothing this year ...

No worries; I already have achieved WP for 2011 and have the bookings in place for PG.

QF decide to have a targeted promotion that's their choice. Same thing when Amex wheels out a targeted promo and not every Platinum cardholder (or whatever rank) gets picked. Is it unfair? Is it unjust? Is it un-Australian? Is it inhuman? What's wrong?

Unless I'm taking all the comments here too seriously when they should be taken tongue-in-cheek....

I had promotional emails disabled in my profile :S. Is there a generic link on the QF site we can use to check if we were targetted? (I did a search and last year's double SC offer had the link "qantas.com/doublestatuscredit", which isn't working now).

I have 150 SCs of travel planned but not yet booked in the promo period and this could be the difference between me qualifying for SG rather than PS this year.

What is the routing used to achieve 720SCs?

BNE-MEL-SYD-NAN-SYD-MEL-BNE is 360 SCs which is doubled during this promotion.

Hmmm, I got it too - my anniversary is the end of March, so I have a grand total of zero SC's so far this membership year ... though I requalified as WP till the end of March 2011 sometime before Christmas.

Nice little kick along I guess.

My anniversary was also end of March. I am also currently WP, and have PG and LTG. I have 160 SC's already this month. I have not received this offer or any other double SC's offer in the past.

Has anyone with LTG received this offer?

I kid you not, QF has just doubled the price of visiting NAN via another AUS city for June.

That have not as far as I can see, for May and June I have to go to Sydney for work so just booked the long way round in J with a stopover for 6 months in SYD before the NAN leg, $647 all up.

Just wondering if this is not part of a three year promo where QF are doing the same thing to a different third of their FF community each year, has anyone got both offers in the two years?

Hmmm.... I did not receive the email. And I have booked all my flights until the end of September. It may be worth it to book some cheap flights and find out if the above is true.
