Has anyone had problems with getting issued new PNRs for the remaining value of the gift voucher? For me it seemed to work the first few times, but now it has stopped working. I booked one flight a week ago and still haven't received the new PNR. Another flight I booked the other day comes up as a voucher for the exact amount as the flight I booked on MMB. Luckily I did a PDF print of the confirmation page. I'm overseas at the moment and have emailed them to try and fix up the issue but to no avail. I'll have to give them a call next week when I get back to Australia

Yes, the same thing happened to me.
Flight booked with voucher had the same code as the voucher and the flight still came up as a voucher - a bloke on the phone fixed this for me.
For that same voucher, the remaining value hasn't been refunded. I've contacted QF a couple of times about this and it hasn't been resolved yet, it's been a few weeks now. I need to ring them again but haven't gotten around to it.
Also still waiting for points to post - I received a reply from QF that they would be credited over a week ago now.

The things we do for points...

This is why I only got $200 vouchers. Bit more to manage but at least I can use them in one go.

I rang up and was quoted the voucher numbers over the phone and clarified the remaining $ values left. Did not receive any new vouchers by mail but have all the reference numbers in a spreadsheet so I know what we have left. $ values left should all get used in single flights so hopefully no need to do all of this again. Hopefully this lesson will be learnt by Christmas 2013! :)

Interestingly, a couple of hours after posting this I receive the vouchers in the mail. Well they were in the form of an itinerary from GIF to VCH but close enough.
Now I'm wondering, I have an e-ticket, what happens when I turn up at GIF to check in ? ;)

Qantas please get your act together your becoming a laughing stock in this forum with these QFF gift cards.

My 2 QFF gift cards were purchased 26th Dec.

Received points for 1st QFF gift card a few days after booking a flight mid Jan..

No points arrived for 2nd gift card so sent 2 emailsa week apart, eventually had a call told yes will be in on 28th Jan. didn't happen, called up told yes will get onto this now, still not in.

I have all my voucher references listed and remaining amount in my trusty Notepad document of future flights booked.

I had to call to get mine reissued. The gent on the phone insisted they had already emailed them, but would do it again "as a sign of goodwill". That might have worked, except I check emails religiously and go through my spam folder manually every day to pick up whatever slips through.

No points yet either, I might add.

Booked mine in the week before Christmas and am yet to see any points credit, nor did I ever receive an email. Use the reference number to book a flight, worked fine and then received an email for the balance. Suppose I'll have to call now to chase the points.

The last of my points arrived in my account yesterday! Not exactly a completely smooth process but satisfied with the points haul!

Still no points for my vouchers, cant imagine I'd rush to buy vouchers again (and apparently this is the new & improved version, so I feel really sorry for those that bought vouchers before the improvements)

to be honest, I'm losing faith with Qantas over the past few days / weeks with many enhancements, I guess the few 000's of points they owe me might be like QF81, not really that important to an Adelaide QFF member, I only used QF81 a few times, most flying was done with SQ, but this was only because QF did not fly that day.

Actually I wonder why it took them so long to kill it off, at best it was "half" a service, no wonder it struggled with yield levels, its a bit like my local supermarket only opening 3 days a week, but of course they're not that stupid..

Rant over...

I did escalate it with an email to QFF and had a follow-up call saying that it was good for me to chase this up with them since there have been some problems with points posting automatically. I beleive my points were credited manually...

I suggest you contact them, if you have not already...

Contacted and received the follow up call early last week.
Was told it could take 6 weeks for them to post, I thought it was 8?

Anyway if nothing at end of the month another email will be needed......

Complete opposite to my experience. Called and was told to just wait. I find their whole system so frustrating! Nothing is more annoying when a company has a promotion and you then need to waste your time following up on their undelivered promises. Any goodwill is lost when that happens.

Got my points weeks ago, but perhaps there should be another thread on actually redeeming these vouchers. Even the premium desk seem a little bamboozled.
