Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Mr Alan Joyce on QF409 SYD-MEL this morning. He was sat at the back of J. Seemed to be down at least overnight.

Was BossReggie up front in 1A taking AJ's seat? :D

Good on him sitting for at the back of J.

In a Lounge now (well, the Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane):

Marty Willson-Piper (lovers of the band The Church will recognise him)

His gorgeous girlfriend Tiare Helberg (well my camera/iPhone skills don't do her justice):

Kevin Rudd on QF8 from Dallas last night.

The wife and I were in seats 8a and 8b and he was in 5j.

Said hello and chatted to staff considering he must have a bit on his mind.

Awkward moment as I was exiting the toilet to find him in his Qantas pj's waiting to use it. What does one way at these times?

Im am very sure Dido was in the SYD J lounge yesterday (as I excitedly tweeted), I tried to get a pic, but felt I was being a stalker. I may have been wrong, but am 95% confident it was her.

I've flown quite a bit but never seen a famous person and known about it. A flight steward once pointed out a member of the Damn Yankees (who?) to me.
My lady friend, though, sat next to Kirk Douglas for a whole flight without realizing who it was.

I could imagine this. I am very anti celeb (dont care and a respect for privacy) this coud easily happen to moi.

And it's not a bad thing either. I had a job once that brought me close to these types, they have all the same issues we have, maybe just a different level of magnitude!

'remember, more than 3 shakes and you're playing with it'

Andrew Gaze was in the SYD J Lounge this morning. He was having a chat with a couple of people who seemed to have a thousand basketball quaestions for him. He was very accomodating, seemed like a nice guy.

Personally, I wouldn't be waying anything. ;) Smile & a nod is my usual greeting for a guy in PJs at the loos. Depends on how long I've kept him waiting, & if he's doing the clutch & dance of the desperate.
