My URTI has been limiting my steps and after 3 weeks, am completely over coughing and the resultant expectoration.

Might try to beat my PB today, no guarantees. Although my hurdle isn't as big as yours anat0l.

Set a new PB yesterday, logging just over 20k steps. Will probably only get 11-12k today.

I've averaged 11k - 12k over the past week (which is a decent drop from the week before) This week I have to try and narrow the gap between me and the team average.

currently pedalling nowhere but watching the footy!
i suspectt i get better value for effort on the bike
20 miles in an hour gives about 11000 steps
even allowing 1200 steps pr knm i can't walk that far that fast
and a quarter of footy is a good quantum of time!

I wish I had a bike :(
My only choice is hoofing it!

moguls work as well!
I'm not a mogul skier - I leave that to my 'kids'.
And unfortunately skiing doesn't register on the pedometer :(
Oh, well, yesterday was magnificent at Guthega - lots of fresh snow and blue sky :D

Pushed myself yesterday - running around with my cousins to the airport and train station, taking the kids shopping (to WOW of course) and running around with them at a neighbours party meant a new PB.

When is thus flu going to pack up and leave? Feel like I'm a walking apothecary.

Four Mile Beach at Port Douglas allowed me to set a PB of over 20K last week then a kidney stone forced a hurried return to Melb and 3 days in hospital.
House-bound now with more surgery in 2 weeks so my average is about to fall precipitously. Sorry team !

Some interesting places on this iteration of the GCC. Currently in the old city of Carthage, which at one time in history was condemned to be completely wiped off the face of the Earth.

Rain in the next few days is going to make high step counts a challenge!

Anat0l, rain by itself won't stop me. Thankfully only spitting when I woke up, unlike last night when it was pouring.

Everybody else must have rolled over and grabbed some more sleep, haven't met a single walker, dogger or runner this morning - I have the streets to myself.

Walking longer this morning, as have appts today out of the office and driving :(

A lazy weekend for me - no doubt you can guess why. Step average has dropped below the team's, and this week is not good for me to try and recover it all, for almost every spare minute must be either allocated to work or sleep - and there is even still competition between both of those activities! :(

I had quite the opposite, so hoping my team catches up.

Saturday was spent at Seaworld and Sunday shopping at Myer Centre.

Today wasn't as good

Zig, always good to know that we all have our good and bad days. I can't believe my average is so far behind the current average for my team, notwithstanding that there are 3 people with multiple days unposted. I had no idea someone was unwell, so hope it is a temporary thing. This also gives reason why we have dropped behind Platinum Oners in the distance covered by 300 kms.

I haven't done a week 5 email yet - this will probably supercede it. I have to really pull out my finger, so started today with a more respectable walk this morning (helps to have pretty much kicked the lurgy I've had for the past 4 weeks). Found ways to be out of my chair today at work - I'm sure my staff thought I had ants in my trousers. Tidying up after kids on holidays always a good start, took me ages tonight :o

Well, time for bed for another recovery session and log another day that increased my average to be closer to my teams. Got close to my PB again, something I want to fo consistently.

Had a PB beating day, thanks to playing soccer with my kids for an hour this morning, followed by playing with them and my niece-in-law. Came back home to mow the lawn, trim the hedges and take my son shopping in Woolworths. He loved the aisle hopping and I got to know my new WOW store much better.

Noe in bed resting my weary feet :D

So 50 days are up - where have they gone.

Nice to see my team almost up to date with entries. My average has been climbing and next week should be a ripper with a trip to MEL.

Woo hoo:!: With the addition of my steps just then, our team has walked 5 million steps collectively.

Yay - Well done! :D

Well I am pleased to report FIFAs RA referral arrived by Fedex today (PM your address again please), I hope everyone is enjoying the challenge.
