2 amusing things from my recent Japan trip...

I have seen this before but honestly thought it was a Photoshop job... until I discovered the real thing. So if you don't settle for anything other than the "best" then I can confirm you'll find it in Kyoto!

Secondly, the announcements on the Shinkansen... I sincerely appreciate the conductors providing their announcements in both Japanese and English, but sometimes the broken English can offer the wrong impression -:

Expected announcement: "Please watch your step as you get off the train."
Actual announcement: "Please watch your step..... get off the train."

Not sure what we did wrong, but as it was our stop, we complied with the stated directive 😜
