Got the email but dont see the free night cert?

Also Gold was extended to 2020, not 21?

AFter checking my account, and changing passwords, I rang to find out what they were on about.
Said there was a 0 point redemption when they added the certificate.

Cheer for this info - i was a little concerned about that redemption alert email but couldn't see any changes in my account.

Just rang Hilton...my reward certificate was deposited on 10 May, and i have till 9 May 2020 to use it. I asked about my Diamond status, and she said it wa strange as the expiry date was blank....and it would normally say 31 March 2020. I said i'm awaiting a credit card offer to extend it til 31 March 2021, and she said that might be happening as it is not usual to see the expiry date blank...guess will have to ring back again later in the week.

I had an on-line chat with HHonors who advised that it isn’t visable in App or apparently online either. I thought I’d been hacked. Poor correspondence email which gave no clear indication of real intent.

Then my first use of card (manual use at BP) was declined. Not an auspicious start. Subsequent electronic use has worked...

Disappointed to see this card go and the new rewards are of little use to me. I was closing in on earning enough HH for an extended family trip next year but direct earning options in Australia are now more limited. Is everyone family pooling or transferring HH points to build up a reasonable balance or are there other cost effective way to earn HH locally?

I’m getting declined when using terminals (EFTPOS) but accepted when electronic use (buying Skybus ticket online). Sure I was told to just use the new card without any need to do anything. Time to switch to QF earning card or ditch it altogether

I paid the $249 annual fee in late March 2019 :( Macquarie Rewards are useless to me so I just rang to switch to the Qantas Rewards version (1 QF point per $ for the first $4000 spent per statement period is not bad [or really that good])....I will then have to pay $299 when the annual fee is due in March next year but will almost certainly ditch the card then. PS I have received the Hilton rewards certificate, and after 2 separate phone calls, Hilton have twice confirmed that there is no expiry date for my Diamond status whatever that means!

No emails received on both occasions but 2 certs have been posted - 1 in March and another 1 on May 10.

Checked with the online chat people they've confirmed March 2020 expiry but changed their tune when I said I've got this through my credit card and the provider supposed to have adjusted it to March 2021, they then confirmed yep it is 2021. I've saved the chat transcript just in case I'll ever needed it to argue with HIlton.

I, too, am awaiting my points from the last statement, as they haven't posted. And still showing to 2020.

I've got the same issue as others. Only diamond till 2020 and missing points from the last statement

The points to 30 April 2019 have been transferred to my HH account, on the same monthly date as previous.

I thought that it was made clear that status would be retained until 31 March 2021. I wouldn’t be too concerned about Call Centre, etc,. chit-chat. Should there be an issue in 2020, we have letters/screenshots, etc., as evidence.

Has anyone received their free night reward certificate yet? They said it would be sent this month.

Email received on 30 April:

Dear Sojourner,

We’re getting in touch to remind you that from tomorrow you’ll start earning Macquarie Rewards points on your credit card.

Don’t forget, from 1 July 2019 you’ll enjoy the benefits of no international purchase fees on your new card~.

To say thank you for your loyalty, Hilton will also be issuing you a final reward weekend night certificate as you have met or are close to meeting the spend threshold on your credit card. You’ll receive this via email by the end of May 2019.
