what a brilliant day, it was wonderful to meet so many AFFers in person whilst enjoying the best OW lounges on offer.

my TPE turnaround became a bit of a nightmare with delays and op-ups not materializing but luckily I had a shadow on both legs with a spare seat.

It was discussed for June long weekend in 2015 or perhaps sooner. No decision was made on the possible alternate destinations.
NRT was discussed briefly but no decision made. I suggest we keep it in Asia for ease of access for a weekend tun.

I agree NRT may be a good place

OT Also Jess that drink I was telling you about is called Parkers Farm Suggest trying a bottle

Ta.

But no-one from QF128 has yet to answer if they drank the plane dry? I gave strict instructions.

Thank you all for a great day. Hopefully, a certain airline won't be looking too hard at the bills and expenses incurred on a certain Sunday in June from a certain outport. :)

Back in the office in SIN now. Quite surprised that the MH regional lounge in the main building has a much nicer setting than the flagship in the satellite.

NRT sounds good for a crawl. Quite a few lounges but it might be a bit difficult to make it work in the way that we can visit all (international) lounges. I think the 4th floor of the JAL lounge(s) close after the morning peak, so it's going to be a very long day. However, the massage on the 3rd floor should help remove any fatigue.

List of NRT lounges:
JAL - main building 3rd floor, 4th floor (separate entrance), J and F separated as well, and also in the satellite building. (So this would count as 6 lounges?)
AA - main building
CX - main building (closes 6pm)
QF - satellite building

No EK lounge, however.

And is SriLankan still using China Airlines's lounge?

I don't seem to be able to think of a lounge where we can have a mass table though - I guess it's a HKG-only special.

Well the London contingent are back home. Flight was fine, and breakfast actually consisted of something more than a muffin ;)

Thanks all, lovely to meet you and finally be able to put faces to names. Some pics from the weekend:

After everyone left I scored a Cabana in the Wing until tipped out at 1am by the staff wanting to go home:

Time to head down to the Eastcoast Seafood Centre for some Singapore Chilli Crab before heading back to Changi for the QF6 red eye to SYD tonight.

safe travels everyone

Just had a close look and I've realised this was when I was handed a new BP. You clearly see me discussing the issue with the staff member, IIRC I was saying "I'm not sure this is correct, perhaps you should double check the computer", or something like that.....

The concrete floor has had a polish since the first week it was open...still could do with some nice lino red tiling though :)
