I have followed the second link in post #1 and entered the code for the Visa Infinity. But the section with my HHonours details is greyed out. Am I doing something wrong?

That's unfortunate. Maybe you applied prior to 1st January. Or else there's been a mix-up by HHonors.

It may have been pre Jan 1, bummer.... there's a trap for young players..... Oh well, have got the Conrad Singapore booked for just after Easter, so shall make the most of my stay.....

I think this was one of the best deals/mistakes going around at the time and good to see it's available again.

Gaining HH Gold has actually had me direct a lot more spend to Hilton and has also influenced by airline preference with VA and its HH matching.

Things like this are why I love this site.

Have managed to sign up and got through to the "Congratulations" landing page where it asks me to make a booking.

Have logged into my account and it hasn't actually switched over to Gold yet. Anyone know how long this takes?

This is what matters to me as most of my stays are only overnight so not *that* concerned with upgrades.
