Jetstar Delays/Cancellations

On Friday 31 March, JQ443 (1700 hours OOL - MEL that took off at 1815 hours, A320 VH-VFP) is predicted to be at its designated arrival gate 56 minutes late at 2121 hours.
 
On April Fool's Day, JQ508, the 1015 hours from MEL up to SYD is expected to depart at 1215.

JQ444 (1520 hours mid afternoon MEL - OOL) has been cancelled as has JQ213 (1820 hours early evening MEL - AKL.)

During the evening of Sunday 2 April 2017, JQ818 (1840 hours SYD up to BNE that was in the sky at 2020, A320 VH-VGH) should arrive at about 2146 hours, 96 minutes tardy.

JQ465 (BNK - MEL) is 53 minutes late on its evening flight from BNK to MEL with a 2123 hours arrival on the cards for A320 VH-VFU.
 
On Monday 3 April, the DPS - CNS JQ91 (A320 VH-VQM), the 0110 hours that was airborne at 0204 shoud arrive at about 0829, 44 minutes late.

Later, JQ912 (1025 hours SYD - TSV that took off at 1125, A320 VH-VGH) should arrive 39 minutes late at 1349 this afternoon.

In further on Monday 3 April 2017, JQ946 (1020 MEL - CNS, A320 VH-VQH) did not take off until 1313; arrival should be at 1609, 149 minutes late.
 
On Tuesday 4 April, JQ128, the redeye from DPS is arriving in ADL at about 0709, 34 minutes late. A320 Vh-VGA is the craft.

The way the weather was on 31/3 at 1800 at OOL 56' late is an amazing feat. It is a wonder that the flight departed at all!
 
In further on Tuesday 4 April, JQ818 (1840 hours from SYD up to BNE that was airborne at 1919) should arrive at 2047 hours, 37 minutes tardy with A320 VH-VQF.

JQ479 (A321 VH-VWU, the 1830 hours NTL down to MEL) was also in the sky at 1919 - it should have arrived at its designated apron location in the southern capital at 2057, 47 late. From previous observations NTL - MEL flights are normally A320s: perhaps there was a group travelling one way.

The 1815 hours BNK - MEL JQ465 (A320 VH-VFJ) took off at 1903. It should arrive at 2110 hours mid evening, 40 minutes late. As this aircraft next appears to be operating teh early start 0615 hours MEL - NTL on Wednesday 5, it should not on its own cause any further delays this evening.

Wednesday 5 April sees JQ7, the 1110 hours MEL - SIN that took off at 1155 (B788 VH-VKH) likely to arrive 44 minutes behind time at 1734.
 
On Thursday 6 April, the first of the morning's SYD - MEL flights, JQ501 (A320 VH-VQQ) did not take off until 0657. Arrival should be at 0822 hours, 42 late.

In further on Thursday 6 April, JQ521 (the 1600 hours SYD - MEL - A321 VH-VWZ - that was airborne at 1657) should arrive 40 minutes late at 1815 early this evening.

Earlier, JQ29, the 1305 hours early afternoon MEL - BKK (B788 VH-VKA) did not take off until 1444; arrival should be at 2010, 45 late.

The Friday 7 April redeye from DPS across to sunny CNS, JQ91, should arrive at about 0818 hours, 33 late with A320 VH-JQL.

JQ929, the 0600 first of the morning at a scheduled 0600 hours from CNS down to BNE did not take off until 0709. A320 VH-VFV should arrive at 0911 hours, 61 late.

Later on Friday 7 April, JQ523 (A321 VH-VWU) was airborne at 1944 despite an 1845 hours scheduled departure. Arrival should be at about 2104, 44 minutes late.

Northbound JQ566, the 1815 hours MEL up to BNE (A320 VH-VQA) took off at 1948. It should be at its destination at its gate at roughly 2142, 77 late.

JQ171, the Saturday 8 April 0845 hours MEL - CHC that took off at 0937 (A320 VH-VQU) should arrive at roughly 1455, 50 minutes late.
 
Continuing with 8 April, JQ439 (the 1553 hours takeoff of the 1510 OOL down to MEL, A321 VH-VWW) should be at its destination tarmac spot at 1809, 34 minutes behind schedule.

A320 VH-VQE on JQ710 (1630 HBA up to MEL that was airborne only 5-10 minutes late at 1653) is arriving at about 1831, 46 minutes late. It has been quite rainy in MEL with accompanying thunder.

A320 VH-VGF operating JQ795, the 1715 hours MCY - MEL that was airborne at 1800 sharp on 8 April should arrive at around 2030, 45 minutes behind the allotted.

On Sunday 9 April, a wet day in Melbourne, JQ8, the 0620 hours arrival in MEL ex SIN was cancdelled.

JQ43 (0915 hours MEL - DPS that was airborne at 1013, B788 Vh-VKA) should arrive at around 1359 this afternoon Bali time, 44 minutes behind schedule.

B788 VH-VKG on the overnight JQ28 from HKT to SYD is arriving at around 1058, 53 minutes tardy.

JQ946 from MEL to CNS is expected to depart almost two hours late at 1210 while quite a few other flights out of MEL are a predicted 45 minutes late.

A321 VH-VWN on JQ432 (1010 hours MEL up to OOLO that did not become airborne until 1131) should arrive at roughly 1325, 75 minutes tardy.

Stablemate VH-VWY on the 1010 hours OOL - MEL JQ431 that was in the sky at 1103 should arrive at about 1321, 46 minutes behind schedule.

In further late running on Sunday 9 April, JQ508 (A320 VH-JQL, the 1120 liftoff that had been timetabled to depart at 1015 hours) should arrive an hour late at 1240.

JQ562, the 1040 hours MEL - BNE (A320 VH-VQE that took off at 1123) is predicted to pull in 41 minutes late at 1331 this afternoon.
 
Also on Sunday 9 April, JQ437 (1250 hours OOL - MEL that was in the sky at 1406) should arrive in the southern capital at 1614, 59 late with A321 VH-VWN.

JQ515 (A320 VH-VQK, the 1345 hours SYD down to MEL that took off at 1505) should arrive at 1635, 75 late.
 
On Monday 10 April, JQ945, the early morning 0615 hours from CNS down to MEL (A320 VH-VQH) was not airborne until 0707. A 50 minutes late projected 1030 hours arrival in a fairly blustery Melbourne is the likely result.

The SYD - AVV early morning JQ603 (A320 VH-VGN) should arrive at 0924 hours, 49 late.

Sunday's MEL-HNL (JQ1) was cancelled (pax were told due to lightning strike to aircraft).

Pax notified by text at 430am. Friend was awake, called JQ immediately and was re-routed same day (Sunday) via SYD.

Others on the flight who awoke to the message at 0630 were not so lucky in terms of alternatives offered. One cancelled trip completely, one paid $2800 to fly another carrier (I assume Hawaiian), and another flies Tuesday.
