Jindabyne friend whose 100/40 FTTN I used to upload an entire hard drive to the cloud is giving ABB a whirl now that 12 month Telstra NBN contract is completed.
Do you have a plan with the fastest possible speed? We still like ABB.

Haha. How many 4K TV you got?.3 kids Netflixing in UHD and I need the upload for work purposes.
I don’t have NBN but like ABB for its no nonsense plans, Aussie call centre, their own infrastructure, and published POI CVCAussie Broadband gets good reviews an Whirlpool, as does Telstra generally.
I'm currently with a smaller company Telecube (who uses Vocus for transit) on a 25/5 plan. On most POIs they are pretty good + they don't offer unlimited so don't have massive users stealing your bandwidth.
Check out the Whirlpool - Other Broadband forum for special pricing
I have pre ordered with Aussie, the 50Mbps plan. Not much more expensive than the 25 plan and for me it's a tactical move. If I don't get over 25 I'll be onto the complaints department. I figured that if I ordered the 25 plan and got something substantially slower there could be lots of excuses as to why I'm not getting full speed.
Apparently they will automatically put you to a lower plan if your connection does not support more than 25.I have pre ordered with Aussie, the 50Mbps plan.
