Just tried the 2010 Grange. Nice, but needs a bit of time and a decanter...
Is grange cork only or do they bottle some with screw caps?
Last I heard it was still cork only. I think it had something to do with the fact that so many bottles are destined for overseas markets where corks are still associated with "premium" and anything else just doesn't cut it (including those fancy glass ones floating around)

I came across this quote the other day and think it's perfect for this thread. I think we have a few members who are following it to the letter, enjoy
"Bottles of wine aren't like paintings. At some point you have to consume them. The object in life is to die with no bottles of wine in your cellar. To drink your last bottle of wine and go to sleep that night and not wake up."
Jay McInerney
Over the years I've been lucky enough to enjoy a few wines with a neighbour. These people are elderly .... their cellar is looking worse for wear these days - they always talk about the depleted look/stock. It's an extremely mighty effort to make a 4,000+ cellar look depleted!
They have worked very hard over the years investing time and money getting their cellar the way they wanted .... time has rolled on and they're well and truly in the enjoyment phase - they have left the best for last! Amazing wines in their cellar and I get a little excited every time I get a shout to come over.
By 'elderly' I expect you mean in their 90s?

At our restaurant in NYC last night they had the 08 Grange for $1500 USD. I chose another wine
