Christmas pork with crackling, more prawns and turkey with a shiraz, followed by dessert and afters with the Black Noble. Will continue the Boxing Day tradition with the leftovers, start of play with the cricket, and friends

Tasting notes: first up it was astringent and front of tongue. After an hour in the decanter it had settled down and it was smoother and it got better with every glass *hic*

Concur, there is an intense flavour but I think the plain Noble One has a more lingering taste. Drink either quite happily!
