Seems like this isn't the sky-is-falling scenario we initially thought it was. Seems unintentional that these flights would cost more for higher tier members. If their dev/ops guys are anything like in my company such an mistake is quite easily made (although you'd hope they'd have some decent test coverage for their software).

Well hopefully this is just a bug in the system that gets fixed soon, I'll be hitting silver after my flight tonight and was trying to get up to WP by the end of September too

Anyway, here's what a WP sees:

Sounds like Silver and above sees more fares because of the new "enhanced", Silver inclusive, preferential award seat availability, that kicked in for the 4th.

Bronze can see less of every fare, so the rest of us are getting preferential availability, but the problem is that they're getting the cheap buckets and we're not...

The temporary solution today is to book your JASA flights off a relatives account who has bugger all status but has enough points.
One in my family is BRONZE so i can use his account for any 44k coast to coast trips seeing he has a big heap of points.
QF IT will fix this but this solution is if you cannot wait.
In between time we have to use our fiendish minds to avoid squandering a chunk of our points that we squirrel away.
Say no to 220k "hurry" bookings is where I am coming from today.

I went to QF's Facebook page and mentioned this is status related...this is the reply I got:

"I have just heard back from our FF team and there is a glitch and it's being fixed as we speak. Thanks so much for pointing it out! If you want to book anything in the meantime you can give the FF customer care team a call on 13 11 31 "

I've also spoken to the QF Premium desk and gave her about 5 examples and she has taken screen shots and is also speak to IT...

Hopefully it will be fixed soon,

I looked at a J award for Syd-Bne on the same day,21/9 and for all flights on that day I am seeing 22483 points required apart from flight 516 which is showing 85290 required.

I'm Silver and still seeing 85k for that Syd-Bne JASAs on the 21/9/11...

Don't have access to another FF account (other than my mum's but she's in Sydney). I've even tried in different web browsers!
