Have ordered my new Telstra month to month plan. Sim will hopefully arrive Monday or Tuesday then I will be done with Optus. Unfortunately could not see an option for an e-sim (although it apparently exists) otherwise I’d already be gone.

If your plan is cancelled, you won’t receive a pro-rata refund of charges paid in advance for the remainder of your payment cycle, unless otherwise provided in our standard agreement and subject to your consumer law rights.

Yep, all their 'Upfront' plans are this way - no prorata charges if your spend goes up, or refunds if your spend goes down/plan is cancelled.Did Telstra changed their T&C on all new plans?
I got pro-rata refund when canceled a plan in July.
When you cancel, your service will be disconnected immediately. We won't refund any money you've already paid and you'll need to pay out any remaining devices or accessories in full when you cancel.
I just got the same too. So some were lucky that the points landed a couple of days before 4th payment was due and others just missed it and had to pay for that 4th monthI was right, Optus were wrong. No surprises there.
Contract cancelled before the 4th payment and contrary to the claims of the operator, I have not been charged a final payment for the last month because it's a pre not post paid plan.

I'm the same as you. Still waiting for my points but interestingly, although I signed up for the promo and my account commenced on 15 July, my first bill wasn't raised until 4 August. So have only had 3 bills so far. Also, I had the Optus Sim Promo in my QFF account but it isn't there now??I was billed 3 days ago for my 4th month, but still no sign of points in my account. I did get the "OPTUS SIM PROMO PLAN FEE" thing in my QFF account when I initially signed up, so I know the accounts are linked properly. Anyone else in this situation? Or is it literally just me for which the points didn't credit properly
